Please pray for my friend Anne, 40s, who is undergoing chemo at present for a very malignant, aggressive cancer. Doctors removed a large tumor, but they don't give her much of a chance. I'm not sure if she is saved, as she writes more of Catholicism than she does about having a relationship with Christ. Anne lives in New York City.

As a Catholic, I can attest that we are 'saved' Christians, and follow Christ with great love within our expression of faith.

Father God, please draw her to your son, Jesus, Our Lord and Savior, and lead her on the path of peace and grace. Lord, Jesus, please heal her body, soul, and spirit.
Holy Spirit, please strengthen her as she goes through the chemo and provide the best in medical care throughout her treatment. Surround her with love and the support of loved ones. In the Name of Jesus, I pray for Anne.

I am so sorry about your friend! I will definitely pray for her. With God, all things are possible. I understand your concerns about her salvation, I really do. I was a Protestant until this past January, when my husband and I became Catholic. In our experience, being Catholic is all about having a relationship with Jesus Christ. I hope that eases your worries some. Again, I will be praying for her healing.
What wonderful friends all of you are. Anne is now at home with relatives, and the last word I heard from a close friend is that doctors don't give her much hope due to the aggressive nature of the cancer.
Still, I pray, and hope that you too will continue to join with me in prayer. I believe God may want me to fast again. I'm older now, 58, so lengthy fasts, the ones I used to do when I was in my 20s, aren't as easy to hold to.
God grant all of you blessings in this life for your prayers for Anne.
