Happy reading. It is a very long book. I don't agree with Ford on everything. After all, he still views 1844 as significant because of what he calls the "apotelesmatic principle" of prophecy (which has to do with multiple fulfillments). I haven't read his whole book yet, but from what I have read, I think that he does a very good job of documenting the biblical and historical problems with the Adventist IJ doctrine.
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:16-18)
