Question Revelation: the sea will turn RED = The Gulf?...

...yeah, maybe???
What do you guys think, I have been thinking about this for days and days after seeing pics of the Gulf of Mexico shores and such red. I just watched a video of a diver who dove in to see how bad this was, he said horrific!
Okay, which seal is this? How much longer til the return of Christ, sorry let me rephase that question, guesses as to how much longer that Christ will return now? 1 year, 100 years? I know no one knows and I have NEVER believed in any specific date for the Bible warns us of false profits. But I am asking you all cause you all are obviously much more educated in the Bible than I am (sadly I am 36 and I have only read 30% of it).
Anyway, thank you for your input on this topic in advance.
God bless you all and LOTS OF LOVE TO YOU {{{{{{BIG HUGS}}}}}}

Last plague # 2 is red tides, which seas are dying from as prophesied. In 1517, when the priest accompanying Cortez saw the first recorded red tide off the Pacific coast of Equador, he was very alarmed until the indians told him it came every 7 years. Then he said "When the red tide returns and stays, it will signal the return of "El Nino" (meaning Christ-child). He evidently knew the Revelation very well. And to this day an upwelling of warm water in the eastern Pacific that causes red tides up and down the west coast of the Americas is known as an El Nino event.
Red tides have now returned with a vengence, and are staying year after year, so you would think Christians would take notice if they have ever read the Revelation.
The Gulf coast of Florida turns red every year and in 2005, the hottest year on record, red tides lasted from January until December. There is also a dead zone that forms at the mouth of the Mississippi every year, and sometimes it extends to Texas. Yes, the Gulf of Mexico is indeed dying, and the BP oil spill and other pollution is speeding things up. And yes, in the pictures, the oil spill looks brownish red -- the color of a dead man's blood (see Rev. 16:3). We are definitely experiencing the 7 last plagues of chapter 16.

On a visit to Florida in the year 2002 we could not go out to Naples Beach. All the beaches in Naples and on Marco Island were closed because of the red tide. We had not heard of this before. Fish died all along the coast and men in divers suits were putting out nets to catch the putrifying sea creatures and fish and haul them away. Biomes of the sea are effected by a virus or bacteria that kills fish. The Horizon-BP/Haliburton offshore oil rig explosion will contaminate the fish, crustaceons and shell fish of the Gulf of Mexico. The beaches of Grand Isle, Louisiana are already closed to tourists. Recreation along the beaches of Mississippi and Florida are also expected to suffer from the blackwater pollution caused by crude oil carried in the currents. Even the Florida Keys are expected to be affected adversely.

The Second Trumpet Angel of Revelations sounded the alarm {2 Rev. 6:3-4} and the Second Seal of Revelations gives the description and effect {2 Rev. 14:8}. This vial judgment seems to be ongoing, and not a single incident or disaster.

May God bless you flower4God.
I saw my first red tide in 2000 when the dead zone at the mouth of the Mississippi extended all the way to Galveston where I was living at the time. I remember watching beautiful girls in bikinis playing beach volletball right next to stinky piles of dead fish piled up by bull-dozers. I cannot get that image out of my mind. Scientists say it was caused primarily by heavy rainfall in the Missisippi basin which washed down a lot of nitrogen-rich fertizers which red tides love, together with warm seas from global warming (last plague #4). Yes, the second bowl prophecy is being poured out. Red tides are usually the color of a dead mans blood. i.e, brownish red.
I also witnessed a red tide at the mouth of the Colorado River (one of my favorite hangouts), and I've read about red tides just about everywhere around the coast of the Gulf of Mexico, which is where the Spaniards spotted the second recorded red tide.

a brother in Christ,

interpreter

"The second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it became blood like that of a dead man; and every living thing in the sea died."

It says blood, not "red". I think it's literal blood, but of course, anybody's guess is a good as mine. Anything is possible.
