There are days I masturbate more than once a day, but there are also weeks I can go without any sexual urges. There are times I can control my lust, but there are times I just give in and not try anymore. This morning, I am feeling guilty and I am seeking a brand new start, another brand new start.
How many brand new starts can I seek? How many times will God forgive me for committing sexual lust on purpose? |

What is it that your lust is compensating for? Do you need love, family or maybe missionary work? |

No matter how far you have fallen or how many times, I find God is always willing to restore you.
I would recommend praying, getting others to pray for you, going to church, listening to Christian bands. Your still quite young, I'm sure a lot of young Christians have that difficulty, don't feel bad.
The sooner you reach out to God, the sooner things start getting better, even though it may be really tough sometimes. My only regret is not being a serious Christian sooner I think my life would have been a lot better, still I am at peace which in the past I never would have been.
It's never too late too start again guitarintro, I will pray for you brother.

Um, no.
On a serious note, guitarintro, how much do you read your Bible? How often do you pray? How must time do you spend with other believers? |

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me 2Cr 12:9 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree: Galations 3:13 When you become more concience of God's grace you become less concience of sin, and your realize there is nothing we can do to merit God's grace, it is a free gift. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Ephesians 1:7 Rom 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. Rom 6:15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Rom 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? Rom 6:17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Rom 6:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
We all sin and come short of the glory of God, that is why we needed a savior...
strive to yield yourself to God, to seek his righeousness. The more of God we let into us, strengthens our faith, because faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Then you will have faith to believe we are no longer enslaved by sin, but free... by God's grace. The blood of Jesus is your covering. Gal 5:16 [This] I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Gal 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. Gal 5:18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. |

I would pray that God takes this away from you, but if this is your favorite sin, which you cherish, there will be no victory any time soon. TO become an overcomer, you have to see the sin as God sees it.. and abhor it.
