Umm. He wasn't freed. He was martyred. He also brought the Gospel to Rome in the mean time.

I'm not following the reasoning here. Why is appealing to Ceasar for help seen as an excuse for the people to appeal to Ceasar in killing Jesus?
Perhaps someone could explain. |

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.....but I THINK it's because as the Romans were in charge, there were things the Jews couldn't do without their permission.
