Petra

I dont normally like the Sound of most Christian Rock/Metal bands, I mean, most sound awful or cliched.

However i really like an old band ive found out about called "Petra", I like the Lyrics, the Sound alot, its really good.

Petra is definitely my favorite rock band and I'm a long time fan. I love how they mixed hard hitting lyrics with top-notch melodic rock.






You might also be interested in Keith Green if you haven't found him already. His music was quite a bit more mellow than Petra's but the lyrics were great. The Prodigal Son would be my favorite of his, musically.
