Reps: 1,574,738,335,962,253,824 (power: 1,574,738,335,962,329) | | Bishop Wenski: Serious flaws must be fixed before health care bill’s reconciliation Orlando, Fla., Mar 12, 2010 / 06:27 am (CNA).- Citing “serious flaws” in the health care bill Bishop Thomas G. Wenski has advocated a genuine reform that protects human life from conception to death. He urged Congress to correct the lack of conscience protections and the possible expansion of abortion coverage in the legislation before the Congressional reconciliation process.
The Bishop of Orlando, Florida, writing in March 10 column for the Orlando Sentinel, said that the U.S. bishops have been involved in health care reform for more than 40 years and believe such care is a basic human right.
While almost everyone agrees about the need to fix health care in the U.S., he commented, “no health care legislation is better than bad health care legislation.” Continued- http://www.catholicnewsagency.com/news/bishop_wenski_serious_flaws_must_be_fixed_before_health_care_bills_reconciliation/

That way if the Republicans derail reconciliation, they are responsible for the less favorable abortion provision. |

"If you pass the Stupak amendment, more children will be born, and therefore it will cost us millions more. That’s one of the arguments I’ve been hearing . . . . Money is their hang-up. Is this how we now value life in America? If money is the issue — come on, we can find room in the budget. This is life we’re talking about.” ‘They Just Want This Over’ - Robert Costa - The Corner on National Review Online |

Bart Stupak is a great man who believes the government must insure that every American, born and unborn, get health care. Let's pass the health care bill with pro-life amendments NOW!!!!!!!!
Its not about money or taxes, it is about what the Church calls the right to health care. |

Why are they acting like the US bishops have the final say?
