I think this is in violation of Canon Law. If I'm not mistaken, religious are not suppose to work this way. |

In the way of public work. Religious are called to live consecrated lives, not hasel with television stars. |

we have not even seen the tv show yet, how can you say that they are "haseling" with anyone

Because the religious are called to consecrated life. If it was a priest or a lay person, I would have no problem. But when it's a consecrated women or man (excluding priests, of course), than that tells me they're willing to gain some fame with the Gospel - which isn't what the consecrated life is about. The consecrated life is life in Christ to a degree where they hide themselves from fame to a degree the laity and priests don't go. Certainly we all must not give into the temptation to pride, but the consecrated much more so in light of their vocation. |
