Question about a friend who sees things before they happen?

My friend is concerned because she has had dreams of people dying and things like that before they happen within a few weeks.She has had this happen with other things not just someone dying. It does not happen all the time. She is Christian and is not doing any type of psychic activity. She wanted to know what my pastor would think about this and wanted me to ask, but I thought I would ask here first while I had the chance. She was afraid I would think she was weird and was a little bit afraid of telling me this. I told her maybe it was God giving her a warning before something happened. Perhaps I am way off, so I thought I would come here and ask. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

While nothing inhibits God from speaking to people directly, such is a profoundly rare occurence. The Bible alone is our standard of authoritative revelation. So encourage your friend to test all things by the Word. Believe the Word, and view personal prophesy, visions and dreams with skepticism.
