A close christian friend last night broke up with her partner of 20yrs. He wasn't faithful.
Her reaction to stress is to sleep, mine is to disappear into a corner with my iPod. So in a silly moment of friendship, i wanted to bring my approach to her. She made a comment saying 'shouldn't i be singing whitney houston songs' which made me realise there aren't, or don't seem to be, worship/christian songs that cover this.
Do you guys know any that can go on my cd?
I'm looking for break up songs (if they exist), songs about new doors opening and moving forward, and anything else of such a variety |

I actually suggest the original "How He Loves Us" by John Mark McMillian. <3 <3

Walk On, Yahweh, Kite, Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own, Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of, With A Shout, Ultraviolet (Light My Way), and Unknown Caller would all fit the category you're looking for pretty well.
