In my part the weather is very mild.. and quite warmish..
Our family is getting ready for Christmas.. buying up last minute gifts etc.. the children are excited and counting the days..
Families enjoying local carol evenings in gardens or what we call a park.. recreation reserve.. where people gather out of doors to watch local performers sing carols on stages etc... The children and adults hold candles and sit on rugs on the ground or chairs.. all ages attend.. We are fortunate to be able to do that here being we are in summer and have day light savings..

Hello pc - it's still raining up here - I love it! It's been really hot recently and the wet weather is a relief! Speaking of Carols - I watched the Carols in the Domain on TV with my little girl - do you ever attend that? This year more than any other, I was so moved by the carols - hard not to cry LOL when they sing about our Saviour! To me it seemed like the carols chosen for the show this year, were more about Jesus, when compared to the carols that are purely about festivities like Jingle Bells etc. I had tears flowing LOL! Not sure if it is just that I have a more intimate friendship with our Lord this year and perhaps I noticed it more, or whether they truly did choose more carols that were all about our Lord... Oh yeah, they had this performance that had a big black witch in it - when I looked at her in costume, I could see that her eyes realy did look red - yukky! I actually taped the show but because of that I deleted it - I didn't see what the song was all about - I couldn't wait until the end of the show then so I could delete it!!! I didn't want that stored in my house... |

Proverbs 3:1 I was talking to my friend and prayer partner today, telling her about Proverbs 3:1-2 and about the teaching that a friend at WOF passed on to me, and the Holy Spirit inspired this to me: When we claim Proverbs 3:1-2 over our lives for length of days, this is what happens - the Lord supernaturally superimposes His day with His schedule and timetable over our earthly day and schedules so that we can achieve the impossible, getting done not only the things we must get done, but also having time for our hearts desires! My prayer partner gave me a 'message' today during our conversation, that we are going to have a Bible Study of sorts here at WOF! LOL! Just like you offered before. For now I will have to go with what pc said, that when we are inspired with something, to post it here when we can. I'll be the one learning from you guys, as you are the ones that have the more complete knowledge of the Bible. I can however, offer you whatever the Holy Spirit inspires to me - it's beginning to happen where I'll be reading a verse from Scripture, and the Holy Spirit enlightens me with His teaching on it. So it should be fun! It looks like it has already begun LOL! I am looking forward to learning much! I'll just join in when I can, and I look forward to reading more from everyone here....God bless... | | |
