Darwin a Christian?

I heard somewhere, although I really can't remember where exactly, that Charles Dawin actually turned Christian again at the end of his life and wished that he could take back what he had published on evolution. I tried looking it up on the internet and the closest thing I could find about it was that he didn't like to talk about his religious beliefs publicly.
Is what I heard wrong or did Darwin really become Christian again before he died?

I believe you will find people who say yes while others say no.

We don't know. The "recanting" story is almost certainly false, but as to what he personally believed, who knows? That's between him and God, where it belongs.
