thank you... firstly i wonder why the other comments and replies were removed... one stated that paul was a disciple which is clearly not the case since he was never part of the 12. he was a self appointed, through apprent vision, to the gentiles, something jesus himself forbade...
if christianity is based on the person of jesus and his life times work, why are we now so far away from what he actually did and commanded and are rather more sucked into the 'understandings' bought to us through paul. they differ in many places so who is right?
if the response is jesus, then why does mainstream christianity follow pauls teachings ahead of jesus, this is true, please be careful as to what is replied since i am falling away from believing now and this could tip me over the edge. I personaly would rather be a true follower of jesus rather then accept the false understanding paul gave.
I think you misunderstand both Paul and Jesus. They are not in conflict. Pentecost and the birth of the Church is a new era. Jesus said, I will (future) build my church. That began at Pentecost.

i think you misunderstand jesus and paul... jesus is pretty clear... worship the one lord, pray, fast and await the spirit of turth, brings back the law and abides by it...
paul comes in changes much of it and mankind uses that today... saying it is a completion of the bible and prophecy
the simple fact that it is so farfetched is slightly lost on me... and probably you.. you are most likely compelled to accept it...
so please dont patronise me saying i dont understand jesus or paul... look subjectively and objectively and you will see two different messages, many contradictions and quite simply what you dont understand about jesus is classed as his dark sayings... come on... if you believe he is god, then how does he have dark sayings... it means you dont understand them, not that he was wrong!!!
