Reps: 264,690,443,271,458,624 (power: 264,690,443,271,483) | | "We are throwing away the child and we are signing a death sentence for Alyssa," Valentine said. "She is not going to survive her time in the Cole County jail."
We are throwing away, someone that killed for the fun of it.
Just because this monster isn't 18, doesn't mean she isn't a waste of life.
She had opportunity to seek help before she killed the little girl. She had the opportunity to fill that other grave(with herself) but couldn't do it.
She is now in the hands of the courts, and she should never see life outside of a cage.
I hope she finds peace. I hope she finds God. She must face the punishment the courts deliver, and it must be severe. I hope she wakes every morning thinking of what she did.
One rule to live by. Don't let your misery or poor choices, screw up someone elses life.
She was not a happy girl, I sypathize with her, all the way up until she killed someone else.
If your not happy. Find help. If you can't find help, end your life. Don't harm someone else. Or if someone else is causing the pain, do harm to that person, not the innocent.
I do hope this man is right. I hope she can't survive her time in jail. I would remind her daily, that jail time is easy compared to Prison time.
I believe this case is deserved of the death penalty, thrill killing of a defenseless child. I also believe the goverment will not do it, so I believe she is the only one to end her misery. Like most pathetic loosers, she won't have enough guts to do it.
MY Christian love doesn't extend very far when it comes to killing children, even if the killer is a child.

The girl is still a child and children shouldn't be tried as adults.. at the same time children shouldn't be automaticly released when they turn 21 either. Man we've got some messed up laws in this country.

Honestly my outlook on this whole trying as an adult thing is that people want to give 13 year olds the permission to obtain abortions without parental consent, so why shouldn't 13 year olds also be able to be tried as adults? We can't give these kids adult responsibilities and give them the ability to make adult decisions but then decide that they're really just kids when it comes to crimes.
It's quite a dilemma.

It's one thing for a teenager to mess up and get in trouble for something like stealing or vandalism, but to kill a young girl? If she's murdering at the age of 15 then what's she going to be doing when she's older? |

this girl has some serious issues. Even if she is tried as an adult, I hope they include some psychiatric care amongst her penal sentence. A little more information has surfaced...
