The Reputation stat for many users is getting WAY out of hand. I think mine are past a trillion now. Before long we'll have to resort to scientific notation or some other similar tactic to shrink it down...
My proposal is that we take the cubic root (x^(1/3))of each member's Reputation and adjust it to that level. This would lop off a lot of unnecessary digits. Examples of Reputation "before" and "after" this operation (rounded to nearest integer):
I actually like the high numbers format. I think it helps us understand that such big numbers are beyond our comprehension and that teaches us something valuable about God and His universe (think number of stars out there).
