Hi John! I wanted to ask, who has been a big influence on you in your life (apart from God!) and why do you think that is, if that is not too personal a question?

I think the biggest unfluence upon my life has been christian books about Prayer and the deeper life. Books about wonderful answers to persistant prayer and faith.
Andrew Murray. Oswald Chambers. David Brainard. And many others. I felt a hunger for more of God and His presence.. these books helped me find what i needed.
Also hard for me to admit it the other great influence was my lack of a dear female friend, because my many years of pain drew to hours of time with God which enabled me to really be close to him and have has my heavnly love.. I am able to treat Jesus in a way very similar as I would want to treat my wife.. ie: I make time to be with Him because I love him.

Hi John! Thanks so much for your really open, honest answer I didn't know if it was too personal a question, but I was interested because I really admire your attitude and the way you use scripture. I appreciate your candour and I really hope you find your special lady She is a lucky woman even if she doesn't know it yet! Umm ha ha def not too hard!! my fav coulor is summer sky blue which is a light blue just love that heavenly colour .. and also thanks for your encouraging comments as well bless you John
