I can use some neighbors for farmville - anybody interested, or interested in being facebook friends, please PM me and I will let you know my name so you can add me :-)
As I've been thinking a bit more about this, I highly doubt I would add any active CF members on my Facebook, even though there are probably a handful I would think of adding in a heartbeat. But, like Starcradle, I only have Facebook for more personal relationships - relatives and real-life friends. There is one person who has kept persisting about it, but even an "oldie but goodie" like him I'm unsure about adding. And I guess if I'm putting that boundary up, in some ways I feel like slinking back a bit on my time spent here. I guess it's difficult to explain unless you have the same mindset. I've explained it to perhaps one other person and she understood, so... I guess that's something lol.
I have none, but that's not to say I wouldn't add anyone if they requested. I also have a few FB friends who are not really that close- just people I know.

I have 1...or 2. Not sure what happened to the 2nd one who was like a random invite. If I don't know you, I'll probably put you in a semi-limited group. Not like I have any information though that is too personal.

A bunch of my FB friends are people from HS, but they never really post anything to me. I am surprised at how many of them have stayed in touch with each other all these years later. I never really was part of one particular crowd, though, so I'm not surprised that I'm kind of out of the loop with most of them.

I'm the same way regarding the last part.. definitely wasn't in the popular crowd, and I'm surprised to see all these people from High School who still have the exact same friends back then and still talk to the exact same people..
I dunno if I consider that a "good" thing to be honest. I guess it's good for them and all, but I like the fact that I basically talk to no one I knew growing up ... I feel like I've moved on and made a new life for myself which I consider a good thing. I didn't have anything in common with anyone in high school, so I suppose it's good that I don't connect with them anymore, it would be silly.
That being said, I do have a couple of people on facebook from HS but only the ones who I connected with and were also NOT in the popular crowd

Yup, exactly. I wasn't a part of any crowd - I kind of floated on the outter edge of all the different circles. My closest friends from HS was kind of a group of misfits - one from the popular crowd, a jock, a headbanger, and me (I was the brain/nerd lol). We were like our own version of The Breakfast Club. lol

IKWYM. I've pretty much moved on from my small group of friends, even though I still keep in touch with them. They are all still very big into the party scene and it stopped being my thing over a decade ago. It's hard to get together and catch up with them when I'm enjoying a beer or two and they're shoveling down shots. Other things have changed, too, but that is the biggest difference, I suppose.

If you go to any of your class reunions, it's actually funny to see how the popular crowd has changed. Most of them aren't so "glamorous" anymore - the playing field really evens out as we become full-fledged adults.
