It isn't evidence of the authenticity of the Book of Mormon if it could just as easily mean that Joseph Smith was familiar with the Bible and used it as an aid in coming up with some of the names.
It is evidence because without it our claims would fail for sure. As you have already conceded, if the Book of Mormon is true, then we would expect to see some Hebrew names in it.
So... when we go to examine the book, guess what? We see Hebrew names in it. Just what we expected. So, it is evidence, but not proof, since Joseph could have borrowed the names from the Bible.

That doesn't make it evidence, as it could also be said that it is evidence that Jospeh Smith derived some of the Book of Mormon names from the Bible.

Why would you expect to find Hebrew fragments of the Mormon books, if they are claimed to have been written in Reformed Egyptian?
Touché. And following this thread I've learned that I could be Jewish. Say my name is Sam Jones. Sam could be from Shem or Samuel, and Jones could be from Jonah. And shazam I am Shem Jonah, Jewish.
