Last night I had a dream about two long, black snakes. I know at least one bit me with its venom. I was struggling to cage them so that they could not hurt me or anyone else. I don't remember if I succeeded. Also, in my dream I was praying for people, including mostly my sister, that they be released from demonic acvitity in their life. There was a special stone--round and oval with trimming around the edges and with this stone I was able to "feel" (through a magnetic force) the activity was around me or any individual. I felt a lot around my sister and faced this stone toward her. I felt this stone pull me back a bit because the energy around me and her was so strong. I began praying strongly for my sister. She starts laughing at one point, thinking this was all a joke but something came over her in these moments. She was being mislead by those things. I prayed that her spirit could tell the difference and that the bad activity would not possess her and leave her alone--basically but in other words.
Anyway, crazy dreams. I don't remember everything in it except that I prayed a lot, but could anyone tell me what they feel this could all mean?
I have had a series of 4 demonic possession dreams where I was the one being possessed a few years ago. Now, I am the one casting out these things. Any ideas?

I am sorry you have these dreams. Your stone is not special, the dark side has given
this to you. As creation you have no power over the spiritual realm especially with
a created stone. You took the stone, now you have to give it back. I would not boast about casting out demons, as you took their stone.
If you think that you are possessed, I would advise you to go to Mark15:38 and there
you will see an open Temple of the Father in Heaven. Believe that the Blood of Jesus
is Alive and walk into the Temple with your heart and mind. evil can not enter,
there you will be safe. This is called the 2nd Exodus, when you cross over. I have
do this.

True believers can't be demon possessed, and you aren't demon possessed. We can be harassed, severely even. Very severely, unfortunately.
Paul talked about 'bearing witness to heavenly authorities', and we do that in our lives. Sometimes through very strange means. It says, "Lay off".
Stone... stones... are core symbols from God. God makes our faith like a stone which can not be moved.
We rarely are given any thing we wish or any knowledge we wish, but that which God does give us is like a stone which can not be moved.
The word of God which is in our hearts is justified before God, and these stones God gives us chase away dominions and pockets of darkness.
It is so unusual to find yourself praying in a dream. I've only experienced that a few times, and each time it felt like I really was accomplishing something. One time, I heard at the end of the dream (from an angel?) that I had just prayed for my own future.
So strange. While prayer should be voluntary and conscious, a part of us is semi-conscious in our dreams... enough that some people can control the outcomes (lucid dreams). So it is not impossible that you really were praying.
About demons -- if we believe they are anywhere, we inevitably would consider they are almost everywhere. We have little record of what they do during a normal day, except to prey on the innocent and discourage from fullness of life in God.
Keep asking God to show you. If the dream was from Him, then He wants you to know more.

Ideas? well my mum actually told me about a similar dream to what you had. It was about her sister who has down syndrome, anyway I can’t remember all the details but they were in one of the rooms of the old family farm and there was darkness surrounding her. My mum talked to her sister, it turned out that she had no understanding of who Jesus was and was heavily into astrology. And my mum talked to her at great length about God and Jesus. So this dream is a gift, you can reach your sister. My mum also had a dream that I was a total emo, with heaps of piercings and a bad drinking problem, go figure.

All I like to say is we go where God leads us and we get tempted to get ahead of God because it's interesting and we want to learn more but, God is your protection and you shown things on his time and when he needs for you to experience them. I did see below where someone said that God's child can not be possessed and that's true. The enemy can not stay where God already is. Glory. I think debate is great. It can be important to consider all angles of a thing. Love believes all things, to me, that speaks of not being afraid.
Being willing to walk the fiery stones.
Did Jesus just stop that storm? 'No, I don't believe it' (imagine an apostle saying, hypothetically). Then, what? Does the thought stop? A lot of times we can stop thinking. Stop searching for the truth. When everything doesn't "make sense". That, to me, is the danger of doubt. To believe a lie, and keep it, even when facts are contrary to it.
As Paul said, 'we never fully know a thing as we should'. I have never found that we do. Especially with people who are living, breathing, constantly dynamic.

What I find in the darkest night, ultimately, is a loving God... who hides behind the smoke of an evil world. We can always doubt our own goodness, but what we have to believe in is God's goodness.
Despite the horrendous hurdles we must tackle.

In my experience regarding dreams with snakes - especially ones attacking - the representation has been of something evil/of the devil lurking, waiting to attack. Mostly I've seen it as a warning to be aware of the influences that may come into your life. To draw close to God so that you may have the ability to resist satan should he attempt to bring harm in any way. You need not fear as long as you ask God to guide you with spiritual eyes to see and avoid any such pitfalls.
