Okay this is unreal, I am looking for a little mini nativity scene that I can display at my office, and it seems like a lot of them are going for some outrageous prices.
I know, it totally misses the point doesn't it. I saw a Top Gear advent calendar the other day. How that relates to Christmas I have no idea. I don't like advent calendars with chocolate in them either. For me Advent is a time of waiting.

It's a sad truth, people will pervert those kinds of things to try and turn a profit in any way they can.

We live in a capitalist society. People are going to try to make money where they can and the celebration of Christmas is profitable. I'd go to Goodwill or Salvation Army. Sometimes you can find really nice things (including nativity sets) for a low price.
