Q: Are we in the beginning of the Great Tribulation? A: The Great Tribulation started in 1988, lasting for 23 years until May 21st, 2011
If we are not in the Great Tribulation, how far are we from it starting? N/A
What do you believe marks the beginning of the Great Tribulation? The apostate churches (congregational churches), the revealing of Jesus Christ in Biblical eschatology (Daniel's seal removed from the Lamb)
How long do you believe that the Great Tribulation lasts? *23 Years - 7,000 years after the flood of Noah (4,990 BC)
Do we have to stay here during the entire Great Tribulation? Yes, after the tribulation of the church - Christ will return
Are we in the beginning of the Great Tribulation?
And why you believe this.
No, the Antichrist has to be revealed before the day of the Lord begins (2Thess. 2:1-4)
If we are not in the Great Tribulation, how far are we from it starting?

Less than five years. The Mt 24:34 generation of 70 years began when Israel became a nation in 1947 and ends 2017. Counting 3.5 years backwards to the summer of 2014 is when the Tribulation probably begins.
What do you believe marks the beginning of the Great Tribulation?
And why you believe this.
The coincidental events of Babylon’s fall and Gog’s invasion. The fall of Babylon begins the hour of his judgment (Rev 14:7-8).
How long do you believe that the Great Tribulation lasts?
And why you believe this.
Daniel tells us it will last “a time, times and half a time,” or 3.5 years, 12:7.
Do we have to stay here during the entire Great Tribulation?
And why you believe this.
No, we are rescued from God’s wrath (1 Thess 1:10) and kept from entering the great tribulation (Rev 3:10). Paul never has the church on earth during God’s wrath, we are in heaven during that time (Rev 5:8-9; 8:3-4; 12:10-11).
I find it interesting that a few here believe we have approximately less then 5 years left to endure before the last days are truely over. I heard an annointed elder pastor voice that very thought some years ago to a few of us standing together after a church service he preached.
He said that we had about 15 years to go before the rapture and the begining of the tribulation. And that was in approximately 2001-2 which would equals out to around 2014.
Even so Lord Jesus come. Amen.

This subject may be probably one of the most intense that there is.
I have my own thoughts on this but I honestly believe that it would do us ALL good to look at this with each other and share our views.
It is important that we have some unity of faith concerning these end times.
#1 PLEASE allow each and everyone who posts to provide their complete understanding, by not attacking or debating their belief... for one week.
IF we let each and everyone of us say what we have come to know and understand, without debate, we may be able to see a better picture of where we really are right now in real time...In other words I am asking y'all to treat this thread like a place where we can give our denominations statement of faith and not have to explain it...for now. ONE WEEK is all I am asking. That way we will not be encumbered with someone asking the same questions over and over... And #2 PLEASE...let's do our best to keep this OP. Thanks

Personally, I don't believe that the great tribulation has started. The main reason for me would be Revelations 9. It says that the bottomless pit will open up, and that creatures from hell will torment all those who do not yet believe.
Everyone else agrees with one of the interpretations that has been offered? We can live in the security of knowing that according to all of our vast understanding, commanding wisdom and supreme knowledge, that there is not one other here who has a different interpretation? No others?
I am just stopping by to help get more from the group...untill we can see what all else are believeing, a complete picture can't be painted...
Thanks
