Loss of son VS loss of faith

I just loss my 35 yr old son to cancer 18 days ago. He went into the Dr.s cuz of a high fever and back ache they did a cat scan and found cancer all over he died 2 weeks later. The loss of my son has really put a huge whole in my heart and my faith and I'm really struggling to understand why all this has happened. I ask myself and others how can God take my son away, put so much pain in my heart and then expect me to come to Him and ask to take this unbelievable pain away. There were thousands praying for him. He was/is a great christian along with his wife and 4&7 yr old sons.

I am so sorry to hear of your recent, overwhelming loss. I took some time to pray for you before responding.

Such a loss brings much grief. Do you have friends who can walk with you thorough the grief. I am thankful that you will one day be reunited with him, but I am sure his absence is intensely painful.

Please also extend my sympathy to his wife. I pray that moment by moment you will find grace and comfort. Please PM me from time to time to update me on how I can continue to pray for you.

I do not have answers that will satisfy. Your son is with the Lord and you will be reunited. This is clear. As to the whys? I do not know the answer. He understands your pain, I believe, and will meet you where you are each day.
