Pre-School Announcements (a light hearted rant)

My wife is out on business travel this week so that’s means I have to drop off and pick up the boy from pre-school. Usually DW drops off and I pick up. This morning when I am dropping him off there is a note on the door that says that parents are to make sure to bring in a brown paper bag by 11/6 for a crafts project.

Ummm this is 11/6 and this is the first I am seeing the note. Hello? Anyone home????

Paper bag? Like a lunch sack size or a regular grocery type bag? I wish I had been advised earlier I would have brought in one of those huge 30 gallon paper leaf bags. Ain’t no body gonna have a bag like this, son! All them other snot noses will have paper bag envy, lemme tell you what.

But nooooo, no bag for junior today. : /

So, what ended up happening?

I have no I idea. I picked him up that afternoon and there was no paper bag sort of craft in his cubby. There was this cotton ball lamb thing. Maybe that was the consolation craft prize *shrug*
