Reps: 203,835,730,560,158,560 (power: 203,835,730,560,180) | | | Fortune Magazine~"Steve Jobs: CEO of the Decade" The decade of Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple - Nov. 5, 2009 (Fortune magazine) -- How's this for a gripping corporate story line: Youthful founder gets booted from his company in the 1980s, returns in the 1990s, and in the following decade survives two brushes with death, one securities-law scandal, an also-ran product lineup, and his own often unpleasant demeanor to become the dominant personality in four distinct industries, a billionaire many times over, and CEO of the most valuable company in Silicon Valley.
Sound too far-fetched to be true? Perhaps. Yet it happens to be the real-life story of Steve Jobs and his outsize impact on everything he touches. |

That said, it's still some pricey stuff, but dad always said you get what you pay for and I've found that to be mostly true in life. |

That's absolutely true.
A list of Apple stuff in my place:
-PowerBook G4. About five years old now, but still running! Barely ever needs to be rebooted and never been hit once by spyware/virii.
-Airport Extreme. Mighty fine wireless router. My wife named it "The Egg."
-iPod Shuffle. Just set that up for my wife the other day.
-Apple Newton. Oh yeah. From back in the day!
-Mac Classic. Still runs!!!!!!
