The bible tells us that it was man's rebellion and that their foolish hearts were darkened. That caused God to turn them over to their shameful lust such as homosexuality.
Romans 1:24-27 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

God has not given up, he has just given us free will to follow him or not. According to the bible he will return and on that day he will come to pass judgement on those who rejected him and his word. He loves you and all the homosexuals but everyone will have to make a choice to live a life where lust is your master or live a life for God who is the auther of love.
Many people preach that Jesus preached the radical acceptace of this sin. But when Jesus preached he said "Come, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men" (Matthew 4:19) , "But Jesus told him, Follow Me, and let the dead bury their own dead" (Matthew 8:22). Jesus said to Matthew " Follow Me" he told him, And Matthew Got up and followed him." (Matthew 9:9) Matthew at the time was a tax collector but he left all that and followed Jesus.
Jesus is looking for followers who will not compromise nor allow sinful desires to control them. According to the bible Homosexuality is sinful and leads to death. Those who preach the radical acceptace of this sin are not preaching the gospel of Christ, but are twisting it to fit their lustful lifestyle.
The bible tells us the hearts of all people are full of sin (Ecclesiastes 9:3,Jeremiah 17:9-10,Matthew 15:18-20) and people think they are happy just to die without ever knowing the love of God. We are told to be the light in this dark world (Matthew 5:14-16) and bear fruit for those who are lost so they can taste and see how great our God is.

Look, you have good intentions, but you are shoving your morality onto people. Show me one law based on the bible (IE, "As per the Bible" or "Because the Bible says this" or "Biblical [so-and-so]").

Nobody is taking that free will away, it's not against the law to be a homosexual. They just cant get married to the same-sex legally. Just as a bigamist cant get married to more then one wife, because the laws of the people said it's not a acceptable lifestyle. Us followers of Christ will continue to vote that which reflects our values and beliefs, just as you will do the same. Nobody is taking thier right to vote or to be together or even to work without being discriminated against. But we are voting on whats acceptable in this country, just as you can vote what is acceptable in this country.
But if you want people to have full free will to do what they want without laws getting in to this, then you must also support bigamist and other shameful driven lust like that of being a pedifile. For if you support one shameful act why not support them all? The fact is you also vote to keep this country moral by voting on your own values, just as we do. God Bless

Or could it be that the voters do not want to prohibit divorce? Could it be that many many many of these good and upright Christian voters ARE divorced and remarried?
But of course there is a huge difference in what these faithful followers of Christ do, and what these evil filty abominable homosexuals do.

Mine was mainly that the punctuation was sacrificed in a way that suggested Jesus was misguided.....in a sentence that also spouts meaningless cliches, *and* suggests that Jesus created the world, which goes directly against the descriptions of Christ in Scripture as being born human in roughly 2 to 4 BC.
One type of ignorance at a time, in an otherwise coherent statement, is an understandable mistake. Tossing together an "ignorance salad" and trying to pass it off as communication is something entirely different.

You cannot equate homosexuality or bigamy with pedophilia. The actions of a pedophile are immoral and illegal because they involve a minor. The other two involve consenting adults. But your main point is correct. Who is to decide what constitutes marriage if not the public through public vote? And if it can be expanded to cover two men or two women, why must it stop at two and not include one man and two women? Why would it be immoral or illegal for me to marry my brother? Or my mother? And who decides? Right now, nothing stops me from living with two or more women, or my brother, or my mother, but I cannot call those relationships marriage. Is that a violation of my rights? Of course not. I have the same rights as everyone else--to marry someone of the opposite sex. That I choose not to go that route and prefer some other sexual arrangement does not mean that society has to give it its stamp of approval by calling it marriage.

That would imply that these men were heterosexual before they were turned. This doesn't explain teenagers who have only ever felt attraction toward the same sex.
