When one has been "won" then what? What's the prize?
People can bid with what they want, the best idea wins. The volunteer who is up for sale , chooses the best gift and then goes on an e-date with the gifter. That is the prize lol.
Then we choose another person.

Instead of an hour, can it be a 24-hour period? it seems like an hour is just... really ebay like and intense and not as fun if not as many people get to participate.
