i know for a fact it was unloaded. the clip and bullets were in a seperate room and i didnt point it at anyone. i had it in my hand when i told her to leave my house and go live with her boyfriend. her mom was rightthere and asked me directly to give her the gun. she had it when the police got there.
It doesn't matter if it was unloaded. You don't point a gun at someone unless you intend to do harm. You wanted her out and you wanted her to know you were serious. That's a serious threat and it was intentional.
That said, you knew what you did was wrong, you took responsibility and had the classes. Like others said, you can only pray about it. No one can know the mind of the judge. Every case is different.

Finding the right words to say can be extremely difficult to get out a seemingly impossible situation. God can prove himself in times of crisis and he keeps reminding us that lack of faith can put you on the road of hopelessness. God is hope and saying enough Christian vocabulary in your speech can convince the judge how sound your mind is right now. Perhaps your punishment would be less severe for just pulling out a gun. Telling him that you ask the Lord Jesus for forgiveness, to remove the sin from Satan. "I can no longer sin again for my heart is filled with the holy spirit. Thank you Lord Jesus for your kindness and love for me. " Raise your hand and say, "Praise Jesus" repeatedly. You might get off the hook. The irony of your situation is to bring athiests to Christ. The judge would love to hear testimonials from Christians who have experienced healing of faith. The judge could be a strict athiest, to convince him to accept Jesus is to see how strong a Christian are you to lay your hand on him and pray for him.

let me remind you of why i had the gun in hand. she was having cybersex with her boyfriend, who i knew, and i got my gun because i was going to his house. this mind you,is shortly after i had surgery. this is also meanin i had literally one leg to stand on, medicated and wanted to have this man out of my life. this man that was driving my car and spending my money while i was hospitalized.
i've already paid the cost in court about the gun charges awhile ago. she got a restraining order and moved outof the house. i dont bother her.
she told my family , the kids and her friends im a great father and wants me to have custody. in fact i think on the forms it stated that after i complete the classes we will gradually increase our visitation times,because my kids are close to me and it hurts them more so than it hurts either of us.
in fact , they were convienced they were coming home this week because she was telling them about court dates. they beg to call me and she wont let them. out side of all that she wants everyone to hear that it's not her fault and if it was up to her she'd let the boys come home when ever they want. this is also a lie.
the other day, wednesday she was supposed to go tell them increase it but convienently she didnt go to court. she didnt tell her lawyer her change of plans so naturally he told the judge that i need help for my issues and being that he didnt speak to her fought me all the way when it came to more time.
with that, these two kids, are heart broken. she will tell everyone that she's going to make it right blah blah blah, but in court whispers differently. i believe it's over child support because she is earning my checks.
now with that, i sold my weapons. i repented. i look at my lie and i hate it. the house im in, i cant really afford it since im losing my paychecks , literally. it's too big for me anyways since the kids arent around.
the judge wants us to come to an agreement but she's playing games. she blames the court proceedings, she blames not talking to her lawyer, etc. my thing is the kids. she neglected them for ayear - looking back she was dating this guy while i was with them. in fact they beg me to take them to church because sundays she's with the other guy.
im tired of this life, and the thought of moving , quiting, suicide etc has crossed my mind. what am i holding on to ? yes i made mistakes. i over reacted, and attoned for it. however im being taken advantage of and it's at the cost of my relationship with our kids. they want us back in court jan, meaning after she built the kids up expecting to come home more, now we cant see each other through the holidays.
in jan they want us to come to a better agreement and if we do the court can sign off on it. she wants to play games. she can make a memorandum today saying differently but wont. why should i continue pushing on?
the thought of leaving the states crossed my mind however leaving my kids behind who is looking up to me, is terrible but i have to consider my options
Fear is a sign that Satan is very powerful in trying to separate you from Christ. Your unfaithful wife should accept your forgiveness because you would ask Jesus to cleanse you from sin, and then she would become faithful, give up her boyfriend and remarry you, and to forget the past and start again. If she is too stubborn then the judge should not allow her to accept your payments. You should find a trustworthy wife to help you and the kids.

Your kids will always be your kids. Your wifes sin has nothing to do with that, and just bailing on them will destroy them even more. You chose to have them, you have to man up to everything that comes with that responsiblity.
Your wife might be an adulterer and a gold digger, she might be a liar, a thief and a number of other things, but that doesn't alter the fact that your kids need their father and always will. They need to know that you love them, are willing to work for their best interests and not dump them because of your wifes sins and the hurt she causes you.
The bible tells us that a man who won't support his family is worse then an unbeliever. Your wifes sins are not your kids fault. You owe them and you always will because they're yours.
