DREAM ONE: We were staying at someone else’s house, but we had a good bit of our furniture there. It was all lined up against the east wall in the living room. The kitchen was to the north of the living room with the entrance to the kitchen near the east side of the room. It was a very large and long kitchen stretching to the west. It looked like an industrial-sized kitchen. My friend John B. was there. Someone, maybe a relative of his was looking to buy an end table. We had discussed the possibility of taking the end table to something like a flea market and that his relatives could come there to see if they wanted to buy it. But then John B. decided he would take the table with him and that he would take it to his relatives, even though there was the sense that they lived a great distance away from him. He asked if there were any documents or papers with the end table, so I looked in the drawer. There was stuff in there, but not what he was looking for. I had the sense that someone had already taken the documents (papers). So, John B. got ready to get the table. Upon examination of the table, we saw that the bottom was rotted away and it was falling out. The term “false bottom” just came to mind. Anyway, John B. said he could replace, or else his relatives could replace the “false bottom.” So, he got ready to leave. He walked out the door while I was in another room, so when I heard he was leaving, I ran back to tell him good-bye and to give him a hug. The hug I received back from him ended up being one of those side-ways hugs that feels less than sincere. And, he had one of those smiles on his face that looked forced. Then, he left. After John B. left, we rearranged the furniture because we now had this one end table missing. The end table had been on the north end of this room close to the east wall. We decided we would put a floor lamp in its place. Then, it was time to get ready for bed. The full size (double) bed that I had slept on previously was now missing and there was no nightgown for me in the cupboard, even though I was quite sure there was a whole stack of them in there the last time I looked. So, I said that we would have to do laundry at this house in which we were staying as guests. The situation of the bed and the cupboard for keeping my clothes reminded me of a military barracks. And, now I felt as though we were going to have to pay rent. I asked someone, maybe my husband, if we were going to put the bed back up, but he said, “no.” He said I could sleep on the floor. I was spoiled. I was used to sleeping on a mattress. I was not looking forward to sleeping on the floor. END DREAM TWO: I was in an outdoor public place, like in a garden. I was with a man. I saw myself as a young black female who was tall and slender. I was showing this person the gardens. I even planted something in one of the pots. I called this particular grouping of plants something that meant that they were wild and that they produced themselves (didn’t need to be planted). The other person couldn’t figure out why I planted something in there, then, if these were to be self-producing plants. Yet, I felt as though I was the person just then that was asking the question; who was expressing concern over the female person planting these plants in there. Anyway, there appeared to be some type of disturbance at the end of the gardens. I think someone, or maybe two people were killed. My friend told me about this, so we went to investigate. I know I ended up being concerned that they were going to think I did it, like I was now under investigation. Yet, my friend and I went back to the gardens. There was something we were to eat or drink and I was afraid. Then, I woke up to this title in my head, “The Remnant Triumphant.” END Then, this song came into my mind, as well: The Lord is my Light and my Salvation The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom then shall I fear? Whom then shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life, The Lord is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid? Of whom shall I be afraid? Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening. I read Habakkuk 3: A prayer of Habakkuk the prophet. On shigionoth . 2 LORD, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, O LORD. Renew them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy. 3 God came from Teman, the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah His glory covered the heavens and his praise filled the earth. 4 His splendor was like the sunrise; rays flashed from his hand, where his power was hidden. 5 Plague went before him; pestilence followed his steps. 6 He stood, and shook the earth; he looked, and made the nations tremble. The ancient mountains crumbled and the age-old hills collapsed. His ways are eternal. 7 I saw the tents of Cushan in distress, the dwellings of Midian in anguish. 8 Were you angry with the rivers, O LORD? Was your wrath against the streams? Did you rage against the sea when you rode with your horses and your victorious chariots? 9 You uncovered your bow, you called for many arrows. Selah You split the earth with rivers; 10 the mountains saw you and writhed. Torrents of water swept by; the deep roared and lifted its waves on high. 11 Sun and moon stood still in the heavens at the glint of your flying arrows, at the lightning of your flashing spear. 12 In wrath you strode through the earth and in anger you threshed the nations. 13 You came out to deliver your people, to save your anointed one. You crushed the leader of the land of wickedness, you stripped him from head to foot. Selah 14 With his own spear you pierced his head when his warriors stormed out to scatter us, gloating as though about to devour the wretched who were in hiding. 15 You trampled the sea with your horses, churning the great waters. 16 I heard and my heart pounded, my lips quivered at the sound; decay crept into my bones, and my legs trembled. Yet I will wait patiently for the day of calamity to come on the nation invading us. 17 Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, 18 yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior. 19 The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights. For the director of music. On my stringed instruments. My Understanding: I am praying this through, but what jumped out at me initially is that this appears to be related to our military occupation in Kabul, Afghanistan. Afghanistan is the house we are living in as guests. Our furniture is lined up on the east wall, i.e. near the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan. And, the “kitchen” of this house is Russia. More to come…

I will rescue you from your own people and from the Gentiles. I am sending you to them to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.
