"For the last 5 years of my life ive been a happy christian, when I got Jesus inside of me i felt I became a better person and had someone to comfort me whenever I needed it. I also became a important part of my church, wich I really enjoy"

Hi NorAngie,

First, I am elated that you took that step of faith 5 years ago to accept Jesus Christ. From what you have expressed, it is clear that he has been your joy and strength since then.

"But when I hear about his doubts it also sometimes make me think about my choices, why believe in something you cant see and touch?"

However, your relationship with your boyfriend seems to be side tracking you a bit from your first love - Jesus Christ. You are starting to have doubts about the commitment that you made to Christ. But Christ remains faithful to you. He even sees what you are going through right now with regard to this situation.

But it appears that you may be putting your own relationship with Christ in jeopardy while you are waiting for your boyfriend to come to the Lord. This is something that I ask you to please seriously consider, since not only should you wish to be an effective witness, but to also maintain your own personal relationship with Christ.

If you are finding it hard to keep the faith, then how will you draw your boyfriend in? This is not something I would advise taking a chance with as a Christian. The word tells us that we must love the Lord our God with all of our heart, soul and mind - for this is the first and greatest commandment. If you do this, even if it means letting the relationship go - you will have been a far stronger witness to him than you could ever have imagined.
