and let me tell you, it SUCKS. I have never felt this crappy before in my entire life. Anyone who can get the vaccine should get it. Thankfully my toddler with health issues (asthma) got it last week, but my oldest also has piggy flu. He and I are quarantined in the basement.
Seriously, I am freezing and then I'm blazing hot. My muscles ache like I did the workout of ten Spartan warriors. If I sit up too long I get dizzy. I cough and cough and cough but there's just nothing. My head feels like it's two seconds away from exploding. My throat feels like someone rubbed sandpaper all over it.
Do whatever you can to NOT catch this flu. Please.

Her school is private and small... too small but you never know ANYONE can get it.. Nope I only got vaccinated for regular flu.... while I went to have my surgery on my broken ankle..
I have not given my daughter the vaccine but now that I am thinking about it some kids got the vaccine... You know the kids who get the vaccine can spread it... My doc said it CAN happen... Soooo we who are not vaccinated are at risk... I am suprised your pediatrician did not recommend for your whole family to get vaccinated

Och. I'm so sorry to hear it.
My wife's doctor suspects that she (my wife) may have contracted it at the end of our honeymoon, but by the time she saw her there was nothing to check.

Look at some of the research on vitamins and ginseng, assuming you are getting healthy levels of vitamins from food and your environment you are throwing away money. Herbal medicine has been around for thousands of years, indeed it has and then we tested it all and the stuff that worked because "medicine" and the rest of it is just a nice bowl of soup and some popery.

I'm so glad my kids got vaccinated for the H1N1. I am waiting for availability for my hubby, who has health problems, to get it, but there's none in site anywhere around. sigh
