Jake started the tamiflu last night, so it's hard to tell any results yet. At least he hasn't reacted to the tamiflu, which I guess is common. It's not the cureall, but it supposedly will help him get over it quicker. I do know of one family who used it (probably the very family who gave this to the school!!) and it helped their kids.
Dr's offices are instructed to say they are out of the vaccine but if your child has an underlying health condition, such as asthma or a history of hospitalizations for illness, then you can get one. My ped said the same thing, until he saw that two of my kids were asthmatic.
I feel a little better today but I found that if I move around too much, I'm in trouble. Thank goodness for wireless routers and laptops.

Yeah, it's nothing to really be afraid of, per se, it just can be a horrendous illness to have. Some people we know who have had it have been mild and fine, others it's been really really bad. I think I'm in between, and that's bad enough!!
