How should We behave toward oneanother as "Christians"
How Should one Christian Respond to another Christian Regarding anything! i.e. interpretation of Scriptures, rebuke, chastising, Christians doing worldly activities, Etc. Just wanted some views to fire up this thread and get some ideas of how We should treat each other in all things, God bless You all and all who participate in this thread....Dave

I think the proper answer would be "in love"
As far as specifics go, it depends on what is happening as to how it is handled. There is never a one sized fits all approach that works for every situation
I think that we as Christians should hold each other responsible, now that doesn't mean chastising them and condemning them, but that does mean that if we see them doing something that isn't scripturally sound, we should confront them and talk to them about that. We are to be brothers and sisters in LOVE and when we don't show love, then we aren't living life correctly.

Hebrews 12:1-2
Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hello Stelow! about an hour and a half ago I had a very in depth note to all of those on this thread and others who join , but alas I lost it do to a glitch in either My system or The Christian forums system ,either way It is lost. I have a Satellite System so it depends greatly on the weather whether I will be able to post or receive Posts.
I will try again but probably I will miss some of My previous points. Never the less I will post again. I was astonished at How some on the forums respond at each other , As in the previous posts on this thread a Christian should in My opinion always regard one another with the utmost manner of respect and always debate in a loving and gentle way.
I find that some dive in and retort with the candor of a Bull Moose or a crazed rogue elephant.... Some wait with baited breath and curled upper lips and drooling fangs with the intention of all but viscerating(sp) their opponents With all the Skill and Knowledge at their disposal.
Not all of us are Gifted with Knowledge and intellect in the Srciptures and all manner of commentary and expositive literature. For one, the most of Us don't have all this at Our disposal for another If we did have it we would not be educated enough to use the resources Properly .
This is not to say that Others don't need to fight tooth and nail over the Word of God . Yes provide answers and correct those Who are definately giving un-scriptural advice But do it Kindly, do like You really Love Your Brothers and Sisters in the Faith , that is what Christ wants Us to do and We should always be conscious of it and have it branded in our Minds.
There are Pastors and deacons on the forums that If it wasn't for their profiles or iconal information We would have to think that They are only on here to argue Scipture not really Here to lift up and encourage Our fellows in the Faith Just on here for the competition. I personally think that weather We are on Cyberspace or face to face We need to be steadfast and loving toward Our Brothers and Sisters in Faith. I too have Been discourteous in the past and I was compelled to apologize to an individual because of My conviction and heart was le d By the Holy Spirit. It is natural For Me to strike back hard and Fast and I am not proud of this I've taken it as My personal job to show others that with His precious Holy Spirit leading We can change and change in a great way.
Well I've gone on long enough considering it's the second time I've tried to post, so Be good to each Other and speak to one another as You were face to Face and Never let go of the Heart felt knowledge that God Has Given You .... In Christian Love and Honor; God Bless You Stelow and all that read and contribute to this post.....Dave

I believe in treating others how I would wish to be treated. I believe if we see a friend or family member going in the wrong direction, giving them advice is not chastising them. However just giving "advice" when it's not your place is another story. If someone doesn't know me well, I don't want someone telling me how I should live my life because they are going on "assumptions" and don't really know me. If someone chooses to treat me bad, then I simply lose respect for them but I will not stoop to their level and treat them bad in return.

Everything that anybody and everybody does (nor just Christians) should be done in love and kindness.
