Just reading some papers, not really into the Bible/religion, but usually at least give it the old college try to understand it. The controversy surrounds Jesus healing and then people saying it's all devil work.
An analogy I come up with is someone walking up to a three card monte dealer (aka devil). There's a crowd, and then someone (aka Jesus) plays and wins! Someone says "hey- you guys are in on it together" and then the winner says "If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand".
(needless to say the dealer and the 'winner' are in on it together). A smart person questions the scenario, yet when Jesus claims it and people don't believe it they are comiting the unpardonable sin.
(Ummm, sorry, not sure of the exact place in Luke):
"14 Jesus was driving out a demon that was mute. When the demon left, the man who had been mute spoke, and the crowd was amazed.
15 But some of them said, "By Beelzebub, the prince of demons, he is driving out demons."
And the Jesus goes on to say:
"18 If Satan is divided against himself, how can his kingdom stand? I say this because you claim that I drive out demons by Beelzebub.
19 Now if I drive out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your followers drive them out? So then, they will be your judges.
20 But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come to you."
Now my question is: If the devil is in any way a trickster, why should people believe someone claiming to be a messiah isn't a "con-artist"?
Mods please move this to another forum if appropriate.
Cheers guys, heaven will be sweeter without me.
Edit:
Unpardonable sin comes right after:
10 And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.

How can you con your own death and then rise again? Jesus must have had the whole roman army and the emperor in on it not to mention his disciples. However if his disciples knew it was all fake, they probably wouldn't have believed it unto death which they all did except for one. The same goes for Jesus. If Jesus was faking, he probably wouldn't have willingly went to the cross over it as well.
