where Adam and Eve overwhelmed?
Jesus did not overwheim people with His presence, so why could not God come to us as Christ?
Jesus came as a man just like the rest of us and Adam and Eve is allegorical. Adam is everyman. We are all born spiritually alive and then like Adam we fail to love others--obey God and become spiritually death. We kill our own soul with our own sin. Ezekiel 18. Like Adam we are then spiritually dead but physcially alive and if we are to be recreated spiritually we must turn from wickedness to righteousness and allow God to reconnect us with life. Jesus taught about this as being born again.

If we attempt to fulfill our purpose of loving others, we have the hope of receiving a second gift of eternal life. There is no pain in the after life. If we do not receive the second gift, we are simply left with the first gift and will not exist after we die.
Dear bling. God DID COME to us in Christ, and what did we do?? God`s Plan to save Mankind is FOOLPROOF, only we cannot grasp it. I say this humbly and with love. Greetings from Emmy, sister in Christ.
Oh? Then why are we told to have faith? Why is faith talked about as belonging to the individual person, ie. Abraham's faith?

Galatians 3:7-9
Know then that it is those of faith who are the sons of Abraham. 8 And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “In you shall all the nations be blessed.” 9 So then, those who are of faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.
Galatians 3:28-29
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And a if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise.

That does not have anything to do with faith being a gift.

Why does it say "of" faith instead of "have" faith?
Because it's an English translation.

John 6:65
No one can come to Me unless it is granted him by the Father.
John 6:37
All that the Father gives to Me will come to Me.
This isn't about predestination, it's about whether or not faith is a gift. Not grace, not mercy, not forgiveness: faith.
