Sultan Ahmed Mosque has always been inspirational to me.
Is this the mosque that is referred to as the Blue Mosque? If it is, then my mother visited it when she went to Istanbul in the 1970s.
We also have a Blue Mosque here in Malaysia - it's located in Shah Alam, the capital of the state of Selangor. I've only ever seen it from a distance the times I've been to the State Immigration Office.
It is the largest mosque in Malaysia, and the second largest mosque in South-East Asia (the largest is Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta, Indonesia).
