Our faith is being challenged. The darkness around us is getting darker. Do we believe God knows best? Are we satisfied with His will? Do we trust in Him that even though we have struggles, that He has us in the right place? Dissatisfaction is within us. We need to learn to eat at His table with joy!
Matthew 6; 25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life[b]? 28"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Where is our hope set - is it on Him alone? We need to having a burning passion for God. Are we allowing the foundation of God to be built in us? Is our life here on earth?
Isaiah 26; 1 In that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah:
We have a strong city;
God makes salvation
its walls and ramparts.
2 Open the gates
that the righteous nation may enter,
the nation that keeps faith. 3 You will keep in perfect peace
him whose mind is steadfast,
because he trusts in you. 4 Trust in the LORD forever,
for the LORD, the LORD, is the Rock eternal.
If we simply read the promise, without experiencing the reality, we do not understand in a lasting way. We need the fire of God burning in us to make us pure so we are presented holy. The way we learn is yielding to the decisions of God. He can make the best of our worst circumstances. Trust in Him.
Psalm 64; A psalm of David. When he was in the Desert of Judah.
1 O God, you are my God,
earnestly I seek you;
my soul thirsts for you,
my body longs for you,
in a dry and weary land
where there is no water.
2 I have seen you in the sanctuary
and beheld your power and your glory. 3 Because your love is better than life,
my lips will glorify you. 4 I will praise you as long as I live,
and in your name I will lift up my hands. 5 My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods;
with singing lips my mouth will praise you. 6 On my bed I remember you;
I think of you through the watches of the night. 7 Because you are my help,
I sing in the shadow of your wings. 8 My soul clings to you;
your right hand upholds me.
Even though David was in the wilderness, he still seeks God first and lifts up praise for his circumstances. He is building us - He knows best. He will bring us through our circumstances, we just need to let him.
So what did you learn in church today?

Today, I came onto the revelation that I should count my blessings whenever “spilled milk” happens rather than cry, because there will be people experiencing far worse things than “spilled milk” taking joy in the Lord.
I love to study every day to know more about our Gospel, our Hope, God's Grace, God's Love, and God's precious Promises to us. All of these things STAND while the world spirals out of control into evil chaos. But - this world isn't our home - our Citizenship is in Heaven. Our faith and trust is in One Holy One who never fails, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour forever.
The world is without Hope, but we are not of this world. I'm convinced that we are watching the last days of this Age of Grace. The Day of His Glorious Appearing draws nearer by the day. What a Day of Rejoicing that will be!
Romans 5:1-2 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Romans 15:4-7 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. 5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: 6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. 7 Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.
Ephesians 1:15-23 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, 16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; 17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
Colossians 1:24-27 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church: 25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; 26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: 27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Love In Christ

Colossians 3:15-17 KJV And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Its so true! We often forqet how blessed we are, when there are so many others who have things far worse than us. It is very hard though to learn to rejoice over the spilled milk, but that is what God is looking for in us.

Yes, I've had moments of fears when I think about what is going on in this world, but I get a swift reminder from God that He has us in His hands. Growing up, when hearing sermons about the end times and how they were drawing near, I remember thinkin' "well I hope it doesn't happen while I'm alive, I don't want to go through it", but now as I've matured in my faith I think "what an exciting time to lay witness to".

Matthew 6; 25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?
Response:
I am not sure that one should abstain from food and clothing. I mean, these are essential things for one's life. It really doesn't make sense.
Well, try it once and see how long you can get along while not eating or clothing yourself.
