But the two go hand-in-hand. The prescription drug business is only kept going in the interests of greed and profit. Disease is big business for the pharmaceutical companies. Healthy people would put them out of business.

You know, as weird as it is, my democrat straight-arrow father and republican (maybe stoner-in-his-youth) boss both think we should legalize recreational drugs, tax the pants off of it, and regulate it.
They say it would destroy the drug cartels, remove the cause and means of a lot of criminal activity (and likewise ease our penal system), reduce drugs laced with poison, and raise revenue for governments. But I dunno, there's always that chance that society will be reduced to roving gangs killing each other for the last few remaining cheezypuffs.
