Day one of NaNoWriMo and I have written 1677 words. Whew! My novel doesnt have a title yet, but here is a brief synopsis -
Eliza is a bored checkout chick with a weird family. She gets a job with a strange old man working for SilverBullet Enterprises, fighting the forces of darkness. There's just one hitch - The forces of darkness don't actually exist. Eliza though begins to suspect there's something not entirely natural about her co-worker Christopher - and it's not just the way he can't seem to eat anything except strawberry yogurt and french fries.
Anyone else doing NaNoWriMo this year? Share your frustrations! (And stuff about your novel )

How do you write so much in such a short time? It takes me forever to get that long...but that could be because I constantly revise what I'm doing...
Yeah, the trick is pretty much not to do that. Just write - don't worry about what you've written so far. It's bound to be pretty bad at times when you're writing 50,000 words in 30 days. You can always edit after 30 Nov. I have the same tendency, though - I go back to look something up from earlier in the story, I see all sorts of things I don't like, and I begin editing. It's much easier when you've gotten into a flow and the words just pour out.
Made it up to 4600 words yesterday.
Edit: 7050 today, running ahead of schedule. I try to get up to 2000 words per day (started on Nov. 2, that way I'll be done by 26 Nov., that'll give me some extra days in case I get writer's block), got slightly more today.

I'm doing Nanowrimo, but I'm a little bit behind (4449 words). I'll get caught up over the weekend. I am extremely excited about my story but this week was crazy for school, and I do like to maintain some semblance of priorities.

I'm ladyaibrean on NaNo. I'm on course to hit my daily mark (trying to keep just ahead of it).

1 Peter 5:8-9
Be sober, be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking some one to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experience of suffering is required of your brotherhood throughout the world.
I am so behind Every time I try to do NaNo I end up getting caught up in my other writing project--the one that doesn't have a deadline. Oh well, as long as I get writing done, right?
