THE DREAM: We were in some kind of unusual conditions where we had a shortage of water. So, we had someone drink the water, then regurgitate it, then we boiled it and removed the scum from off the top. We placed the water in some kind of a container that had a cloth of some kind inside of it. We kept repeating this process for our water use. There was another step in the process that I don’t remember.
I think we were at a cheap motel. A Thursday was mentioned. I think it was a reference to a holiday, only it felt like it was Halloween. My D-I-L, Faith, was in the dream. There was some kind of conversation that took place between us. I think it was positive. I think I was giving her advice about something. END
I know there was more and I am missing a lot of the context of this dream, but this is all I remember. I pray that if the Lord would want me to remember more that he would bring it to my recall. Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening. I read Nahum 1:
An oracle concerning Nineveh. The book of the vision of Nahum the Elkoshite.
The Lord 's Anger Against Nineveh 2 The LORD is a jealous and avenging God; the LORD takes vengeance and is filled with wrath. The LORD takes vengeance on his foes and maintains his wrath against his enemies. 3 The LORD is slow to anger and great in power; the LORD will not leave the guilty unpunished. His way is in the whirlwind and the storm, and clouds are the dust of his feet.
4 He rebukes the sea and dries it up; he makes all the rivers run dry. Bashan and Carmel wither and the blossoms of Lebanon fade. 5 The mountains quake before him and the hills melt away. The earth trembles at his presence, the world and all who live in it. 6 Who can withstand his indignation? Who can endure his fierce anger? His wrath is poured out like fire; the rocks are shattered before him.
7 The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him, 8 but with an overwhelming flood he will make an end of Nineveh ; he will pursue his foes into darkness. 9 Whatever they plot against the LORD he will bring to an end; trouble will not come a second time.
10 They will be entangled among thorns and drunk from their wine; they will be consumed like dry stubble. 11 From you, O Nineveh , has one come forth who plots evil against the LORD and counsels wickedness.
12 This is what the LORD says: "Although they have allies and are numerous, they will be cut off and pass away. Although I have afflicted you, O Judah , I will afflict you no more. 13 Now I will break their yoke from your neck and tear your shackles away." 14 The LORD has given a command concerning you, Nineveh : "You will have no descendants to bear your name. I will destroy the carved images and cast idols that are in the temple of your gods. I will prepare your grave, for you are vile."
15 Look, there on the mountains, the feet of one who brings good news, who proclaims peace! Celebrate your festivals, O Judah, and fulfill your vows. No more will the wicked invade you; they will be completely destroyed.
My Understanding: After I read this passage of scripture and noted the reference to wine and drunkenness, and then I reconsidered this dream, I remembered that a lot of what was in this dream reminded me of a TV documentary I had seen awhile ago that was showing how beer is made.
“The brewing process is typically divided into 7 steps: mashing, lautering, boiling, fermenting, conditioning, filtering, and filling. Lautering is a process in brewing beer in which the mash is separated into the clear liquid wort and the residual grain. Lautering usually consists of 3 steps: mashout, recirculation, and sparging.” Brewing - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I see this drinking of the water and the regurgitating of it as part of this lautering process that includes “recirculation”. Then, we boiled it, which is the boiling step in this brewing process. We removed the scum off the top, which is also part of this brewing process. The cloth lined container symbolizes this filtering process, too. So, the first part of this dream has to do with this process of making beer, only it has a twist to it with the idea of someone drinking the water, then regurgitating it, which appears to be related to this recirculation process.
This passage of scripture begins with a declaration of judgment against God’s enemies who are also the enemies of God’s people. Yet, the Lord is slow to anger. He will not leave the guilty unpunished, but sometimes he delays the punishment for a time. This does not indicate that God is somehow lacking in power. He is the most powerful, which is described in vv. 4-6. It just means that he is long-suffering and patient because he wants people to come to repentance.
In contrast to these words of judgment against God’s enemies, the Lord offers words of comfort for those who put their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. To them the Lord Jesus is a refuge in times of trouble. He cares very much for those who trust him.
Then, God’s enemies are described as drunkards. From them comes one who plots evil against the Lord and who counsels wickedness. I believe this is talking about this final king or this final kingdom, i.e. the red dragon, the Beast and/or the Antichrist who will rule for a period of 3.5 years. Then, the Lord states that these enemies will be cut off and will pass away. These news articles really jumped out at me:
What I saw in these news articles in relation to this dream, for one, is that the White House serves as a place where many, many people come to visit. So, I believe this refers to this “cheap motel” of this dream. A Thursday was mentioned. It was a holiday, but it felt more like Halloween. The next holiday is Thanksgiving and it is on a Thursday, and although I am extremely cautious about naming days or dates, this day does appear to keep coming to the forefront for some reason. Whatever the day is, the idea here is that evil is being plotted against the Lord and against his people for a specific day. And, it appears also to be connected with some or all of these visitors to the White House since Obama took office in January.

Vv. 10-11 appear to be key here in understanding this first paragraph of this dream. The dream, in the first paragraph, appears to describe this process of brewing beer. V. 10 is describing the judgment that will come upon these enemies of God. They will be entangled among thorns and they will be drunk from their wine. Then, the one who comes forth who plots evil against the Lord is described as one who counsels wickedness. My Zondervan NIV Bible Commentary suggests that “drunkenness is both a cause and consequence of judgment.” So, I would like to address that.
First, it is the cause. In this dream, the water (which is the primary ingredient in beer) went into someone’s mouth, then it was regurgitated and then it went through this brewing process.
Proverbs 20:1: “Wine is a mocker and beer a brawler; whoever is led astray by them is not wise.”
I know this has to do with this plotting of this evil and this counsel of wickedness, as well as it symbolizes, I believe, these consequences of judgment. I do know that the mouth has to do with our witness for good or for evil. And, I have a sense that this is in reference to the consumption of beer at the White House during these meetings with all these visitors, but that it is speaking metaphorically with regard to what comes out of their mouths, i.e. their words are filled with drunkenness (lack of morals; lack of integrity; worthless character; etc.), so what comes out of their mouths is a reflection of their character. Also, I saw the “regurgitating” as describing vomit, so this vomit coming out of this person’s mouth is recycled and other people then drink from it and they spread it around to other people.
I also saw that this represented judgment – terms such as “boiling” refer to this fire of God’s wrath and “removing the scum from off the top” speaks of removing of evil leaders, and then the “cloth” that was placed in the container for straining and filtering is to remove unwanted materials. In the sense that this final (before Jesus’ return and him setting up his kingdom on the earth) kingdom will serve as God’s divine instruments of judgment on the earth, I believe this applies to God’s judgment on the people, in particularly on his people for the purpose of bringing them to repentance and into a right relationship with him. In the sense that this judgment is on God’s enemies (his divine instruments of judgment), the purpose is to destroy them and to put an end to them so that they can no longer oppress God’s people.
Although God used his enemies as his divine instruments of judgment against his children, God says that he will now (once he is done afflicting them) afflict his loved ones no more. He will break the yoke from their necks that was placed upon them by this oppressive enemy. And, God will wipe out all the descendants of this enemy and he will prepare them for their grave, because they are vile.
The passage of scripture ends in hope. I believe v. 15 is speaking about the return of Jesus Christ. He will come as both judge and as Savior. He will completely destroy this beast and his false prophet and this final earthly kingdom that sets itself up against God and against God’s people. And, the people of God will celebrate and we will fulfill our vows, i.e. we will consummate our relationship with Jesus Christ at the wedding of the bride (the true church) with her bridegroom (Jesus Christ).

Sunday, November 01, 2009 – Last night I was thinking further about this regurgitating of the water when I remembered what I had read previously about how a Tsunami works. So, I looked it up:
“… Much like any other water waves, tsunamis are reflected and refracted by the topography of the seafloor near shore and by the configuration of a coastline. As a result, their effects vary widely from place to place. Occasionally, the first arrival of a tsunami at a coast may be the trough of the wave, in which case the water recedes and exposes the shallow seafloor. Such an occurrence took place in the bay of Lisbon, Portugal, on November 1, 1755, after a large earthquake; many curious people were attracted to the bay floor, and a large number of them were drowned by the wave crest that followed the trough only minutes later. The most destructive tsunami ever recorded took place on December 26, 2004, after an earthquake of magnitude 9.0 displaced the ocean floor off the Indonesian island of Sumatra. Two hours later, waves as high as 9 metres (30 feet) struck the eastern coasts of India and Sri Lanka, some 1,200 km (750 miles) away. From what I remembered of what I have seen on TV documentaries on Tsunamis, it is like the ocean sucks the water back inside and then it is a lot like someone forcefully vomits or regurgitates the water. Tsunamis are extremely destructive and they literally do remove the “scum” from off the top of the earth and they do work as a “filtering” process, as well, as they remove much “unwanted” material. As a judgment of Almighty God, the purpose of a Tsunami is to remove the “scum”, i.e. these contemptible and “worthless” (reference this passage of scripture about the drunkards) leaders at the top as well as it serves as a filtering process to remove “unwanted materials” from our lives. It is God’s means of bringing his people to repentance and to return them to faith and obedience to Jesus Christ alone.
It appears to me that God is using human instruments to plot this Tsunami. Tsunamis can be produced via underwater nuclear explosions. The Lord has shown me that in previous dreams, in particularly in one where I sensed that this was to take place in Washington D.C. I have had many dreams about judgment against D.C. And, from the context of this dream in relation to the news articles I believe the Lord led me to, these evil plots are being discussed within the walls of the White House with some of the visitors to this “cheap motel.” So, there are those, apparently, within our own government that are plotting the destruction of Washington D.C. and the destruction of our form of government with an obvious intent, I believe, to then take over the USA. The Lord has also shown me this in many dreams. Whether or not this is a literal Tsunami or not, I do not know, but it appears that it is.
When the Lord first began giving me dreams and visions of judgment against the USA back in November of 2004, he gave me a vision on November 26th at 8:00 p.m. of what appeared to be an earthquake and a Tsunami here in the USA. Then, on December 26th, at 8:00 a.m. this Asian Tsunami that killed over 200,000 people occurred. I sensed that the Lord was showing me what this vision was about, only he was saying this was coming to the USA in the future.

This caught my eye because last night I watched a short video on boiling water during a cholera outbreak. The disease was found to be in the water, when the people thought it was in the air.
After watching another one on the flu, and wondering how it might have applied to CF dream threads, I thought of the few recent dreams about floods. Forces sweeping in with no way of controlling, and no tangible way to get a hold on it.
The video above talks about how the simple act of boiling water stopped uncounted deaths, and started new systems for waste disposal. Purification. Cleansing our hearts and hands.
In old Hebraic and Islam customs, ceremonial cleansing took place that halted the spread of germs. People washed their feet after coming in from streets covered with camel droppings. People washed their hands before meals. We still say we do now, but sometimes get carried away in a conversation or don't want to wait in line for a rest room sink.
The reboiling, filtering, skimming show a complex and tedious set of steps to achieve safe drinking water. It could also provide a solution.
