Furniture Water Hancuffs Guns

A title for this dream escaped me so I just noted some of its symbols for a title.

This is a dream I participated in. My brother showed me some antique furniture he inherited from my parents. The furniture was valuable. But he covered them with a pickled (white-washed) finish. What made them more valuable was the insignia on them. There were from the original Disney Land (in the dream) and had icons of various Disney characters carved into the wood.

I offered to help properly restore the furniture. END part one.

Next I'm with a friend of mine who, of his own accord went ahead and refinished my classical guitar. However, he applied the wrong type of finish and it ruined the guitar. He made lite of it and when I complained to him of the value of the guitar he shook it at me and the neck of the guitar waved back and forth bending like a snake. End part two.

I'm with a group of people and we're doing some sort of stealth thing in the early morning hours. Breaking into a building? I'm not sure what were doing there.

The building we gain access to had a back door to a docking are of a seaport. Gaining access to a dock I noticed some fellas on a boat who had two women handcuffed. One was a weapons expert who attacked me with a Bo Staff, deftly spinning it and striking with it. I on the other hand clumsily handled my own but was able to defeat him and loose one woman.

The next opponent had a gun it was produced in a scuffle he was disarmed and by this time my "team" was to my aid now both women are free and bad guys are apprehended. End

In the different situations, you had a determination to protect things you'd held as having longstanding value.

Some held sentiment, and personally perceived value -- where others were ignoring the personal and only treating objects (and people) with a declared retail value.

The first two situations, you were disgusted (maybe) that someone didn't understand how to properly take care of the items -- whitewashing and refinishing -- and you weren't able to prevent them from just taking over and doing it... apparently not even knowing they were doing it until it was done.

The last scene, you seemed to have a stance where you were not part of the status quo, but standing for what you believed to be right. The edge of the ocean might have been global contact; being at a port and boat reinforces this sense of interaction with external groups.
