Blaspheming the Holy Spirit is unforgivable, and perhaps lying to the Holy Spirit is blasphemy. They had swift and immediate judgment. As long as one is still alive, there may be a chance for them to be saved, or forgiven.

Let me suggest to you what lying to the Holy Spirit means. A person who is being led and taught by the Holy Spirit is saying to the Hoy Spirit they love God. When a person deliberately commits a sin they lie to the Holy Spirit. Someone who loves God does not sin.

Gal 2:11-16
11 But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.
12 For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.
13 And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.
14 But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?
15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,
16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
KJV
I believe Peter sinned here. Was he not saved?

I believe Peter sinned here. Was he not saved? Wow! You accuse Peter of sinning? You were inside his head and know that he knew he was committing a sin, and did it anyway. You are saying that Peter was more concerned about what his friends thought of him than what Jesus thought of him? So concerned that he was willing to slap Jesus in the face? You see a sin is when you know something is wrong and do it anyway. Now if Peter agreed with Paul, that eating with whom he pleased, was wrong, and then did it anyway, maybe it would be a sin. A person who knows God will not sin, and if he or she does they will go to Hell.

Acts 10:28
28 And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.
KJV
This is just one example. Paul also speaks of dear women who labored with him in the gospel who were having a dispute. Their inability to get along,(strife) evidences sin.
