Listend to a youtube video about a theory it is someone royal and the facts I'm still chewing on. Part of theory is that he will be revealed in 2012 as he will be 33 years of age which is the exact age Jesus began His own earthly ministry.
Does the antichrist physically have to be born in the ancient Assyrian empire land? Can he simply be genetically linked to that people?
It seems we often do not take into account Jesus foretold of many antichrists and they would be everywhere in the end. With that in mind I don't know any one human could finger the ultimate antichrist host before his time, but we may certaintly see the little ones. He is most likely very well hidden until the beast is released from the pit and inhabits the man who chooses to accept that most evil of creatures.

No offense taken. I am working on piecing together what the Lord has shown some friends as well as myself. At this point Im not sure where I stand on the timing and am merely looking for thoughts and opinons.
Sorry I did mean to state more clearly I believe the physical person has been born and is currently alive and well. So I am questioning where we are to understand when the real beast and his cohorts will be released from hell to inhabit the antichrist man (body). And the ancient chained ones coming with him that will bring terrible destruction and grief on the earth.

The elect will know who is who...but the rest of the church will not be able to tell Satan from Jesus...

What makes you think the beast needs to posess a Human. I can not think of any scripture that says he does..................
The first son of perdition was posessed by satan for a time.

The second son of perdition will also more than likely have satan enter him at some point in time, propably before he goes into the newly built temple and declares himself to be god above all other gods.

Satan does not need to enter a Person to accomplish things on earth...........And in the case of the AC it does not serve his purpose to possess a already known Human................he is going to pretend to be Jesus returned tough to be Jesus returned when you have a life and friends and a mother.

IMO, yes born, not yet revealed. I also think that 'the beast which comes up from the abyss', 'the image of the first beast' and 'the eighth king that is also part of the seven' are all references to a Roman empire type political entity which has yet to be established, not an individual.
This is because I think the 'beast' symbol refers to empires/nations - as is consistent with Daniel's prophecy of the four beasts, of which the first beast of Revelation shares in the same symbol set shown in the book of Daniel.
