Copts attacked in Deir Mawas - Upper Egypt- for renovating a church tower
On the evening of Tuesday October 27, 2009, a group of Muslims attacked St. George Coptic Church as well as some houses, shops and cars in the village "Albderman" in Elmenia province in Upper Egypt.
The attacks by the Muslim mob occurred in an attempt to stop the restoration work to a beacon of the church, for which the official permit of restoration was already procured by the Church. The Free Copts - Copts attacked in Deir Mawas - Upper Egypt- for renovating a church tower
I post these as a reminder to pray for our brothers and sisters facing persecution around the world, as well as to make those of us who live in countries where there is religious freedom thankful for the Lord's blessing.
