The above statement is defined in the first 4 seals in Revelation 6. Seals 1-4 are clearly indicated as being opened, today, right now…
Matthew 24:21-22 (KJV) For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. [22] And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
The days are short even now due to the world that we live in…IE; back in the days before the advent of our modern technology the days seemed to last forever… 50’ and 60' and the first part of the 70’. Today our day is so short that we have barely enough time to do anything…
This Great Tribulation is with us right now, no matter how many people are not seeing this, it is happening. Millions if not Billions of people worldwide are out of a job. The monies that this planet uses for exchange is almost worthless. Millions of people in the USA are having their homes foreclosed on due to lack of a job, no savings left, no income at all…this Great Tribulation will get worse and worse... the only end in sight is seen by the Children of GOD
Moving right along… Matthew 24:29-31 (KJV) Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: [30] And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. [31] And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. “Immediately after the tribulation of those days”
“Those days”… what days? The days that we see happening before us all day, every day, right now.
Is the “harpazo” of 1 Thes. 4:15-18 the same thing as what we see that Lord Jesus said? And He shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we, which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord, shall not prevent them that are asleep. [16] For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: [17] Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. [18] Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Can we find this in Revelation? NOT COMPLTELY as it is in the above verses, but pieced together it reads the same… Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken
Then what? SO, where can we find this happening in Revelation? What part of this is in Revelation?
Chapter 6 verse 12 Rev. 6:12-14 (KJV)
And I beheld when He had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; [13] And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. [14] And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken This is a clear description of a nuclear holocaust taking place as described by someone who has never seen nor heard of such a thing.
ACCORDING TO Lord Jesus, Apostle Paul and the gift given to this servant, the “harpazo/rapture” takes place right here… AND it is evidenced by the multitude of people’s, kindred’s tongues and nation’s right there in Revelation chapter 7; Rev. 7:9 (KJV)
After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; AND what are these multitudes, which no man can number doing? Rev. 7:15-17 (KJV)
Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. [16] They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sunlight on them, nor any heat. [17] For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
SO WHY ARE PEOPLE TRYING TO TELL US THAT WE ARE GOING TO GO THROUGH THE ENTIRE GT AND WE WILL BE DOING WHAT IT IS WRITTEN IN REV. 20…?
IMO, these days are full of wickedness and the “old leaven” teachings that have been developing since the dark ages have had plenty of time to grow into wonderful looking loaves of contaminated bread.
Many people have been eating the contaminated bread. They have a pseudo understanding to the realities of Christianity. Many of them do not believe in the gifts of GOD being in operation for today. They believe that the Word of GOD was embellished in Mark 16:9-20 IE; not written by Mark, therefore not the Word of GOD. They believe that those who speak in other tongues are of the devil. This one really gets me too… TWO people, one will be taken one will be left… Matthew 25:1-13 (KJV) Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the Bridegroom. [2] And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. [3] They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: [4] But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. [5] While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. [6] And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. [7] Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. [8] And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. [9] But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. [10] And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. This is to name just a few things that they believe… In other words, they claim Lord Jesus as Savior but deny the power thereof.
2 Tim. 3:5 (KJV) Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
The souls in Rev 20 are specificitied as people who were martyred…people who were martyred because they would not worship the beast…people who were martyred for not taking the beasts mark… Rev. 20:4 (KJV) And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
IF anyone wants to participate in this event in Revelation 20, you must qualify for the position. These are the qualifications;” were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, for the word of God, which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands”
The Pre-Tribulational teaching did not happen.

The next major event scheduled on the prophetic calendar is the opening of the 6th seal…
There is only ONE similarity to the people who were martyred and show up in heaven in Revelation 6 and the multitude of individuals in chapter 7...
White robes... and here again others are proclaiming that because of this similarity that the multitude of individuals are part of the people who get white robes in the opening of seal #5, because of the white robes.
WE ALL get white robes.
And again, we will rule with Lord Jesus as He told us we will but not all of us at the same place and time till this is over and dung with.
There will be nations to rule later on after the 1,000 is ended...

And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. [2] In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
We are being prepared in the Word of GOD to do different things and some teachings that are being taught are saying that we all get to go and do the same thing at the same time... WHY would GOD be teaching us that there are different operations and positions in our ministry and then change it all up at the end? He wouldn't, but men will.

Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. [5] And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. [6] And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. [7] But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
Matthew 24:34 (KJV) Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass, till all these things are fulfilled.
Mark 13:30 (KJV) Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things are done.
Luke 21:32 (KJV) Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass away, till all is fulfilled.
This generation, the one that we live in, right now, today, is seeing these long awaited for prophecies take place before our very eyes.
How are you dealing with it?

This servant was given one talent and it will not be placed in a hole in the ground and buried for fear of what the masses will say or do.
Many here are believing in things that they have read or heard of over the years and have decided that what they believe is correct…
Many are teaching things that they read about and now believe in it and have come to understand as correct…
Have you seen these things with your own eyes?
Did you participate in it with your own body?
Are you certain of this because you have witnessed it or did you learn it from a teaching from someone else that was bodily in it and personally witnessed it?
Is this something that you read and come to believe?
Is there evidence of what you believe?
Is that evidence in the form of a teaching based on a set of formulas contrived by other men or in the form of a living, breathing literal witness of whom has been there and already done it?
Are you an Apostle?
Are you a Prophet?
Are you an Evangelist?
A Pastor or Teacher?
We are living in the very “end days” of time and soon Lord Jesus will indeed return for His elect. This will take place in the sky according to His word and that of Apostle Paul. The earth will be shaken, the sky will scroll up, the moon and the suns light will be darkened and He will give a shout as of the trump of an Archangel… 1 Thes. 4:16-18 (KJV)

Of what single or multi significance would there be to actually know the correct timing of an event that GOD plans on doing, do for us?
He has always informed us of His plans and would not have us to be ignorant of anything that He is going to do.
This servant had never heard of the different teachings (PRE/MID/POST-Tribulation)that are beings passed around concerning this subject until it was shown and explained…
This is not a salvation issue and no matter how adamant any of us may become in teaching what we have either learned or have seen, salvation is not based on knowing when Lord Jesus will return for His Body.
Let us remember that no matter what, He will do so just like He told us He will…

i must admit i am one who has been assuming that all has not happened yet. Although i believed there were signs of the end times unfolding before our eyes....the darkness gets thicker and hazier, just like the minds and hearts of those un-heeding of God's voice through all of this.
I am thankful for studies on Revelation, because just as Jesus said there will be signs, there surely are.
I am, as we speak, munching on all of this.

in Rev, there are certain times when the wording shows us that it is done...that Christ is landed....
the Seals are information only and are not a timeline so to speak...
Do not get confused...
the rapture to Christ happens after the entire tribulation , not at any time before that...
knowing what to do in that time, being SEALED with truth, will give you the means to not be deceived/tempted/beguied/turned from a virgin into a whore.... in that hour of temptation...

The seals are literal in that they represent an actual set of consequences taking place once the seal has been opened... Each and every seal 1 thru 4 are presently taking place on a daily basis, moment by moment... They may mean the things that you are saying, but they represent a set of circumstances that take place simultaneously, seals 1 thru 4. Seal 5 is a literal happening that takes place in heaven, as are seals 6 and 7... ALL have specific circumstances and specific consequences...
Never in our history since the ascension of Lord Jesus have the first three taken place at the same time... once the 4th seal was evidenced as being opened all four of them now take place at the same time, all day and night long...
Explanation of seal 4; Many people are expecting the entire population of over 6.8 billion people to suffer a total loss of one fourth of this population to die from the sword, famine, disease and the beasts of the planet... THAT may happen when the 6th seal is opened but it is not evidenced as such...IF 1/4th of this planet was to die all at once that would be spectacular... 1.7 BILLION people dieing all at once from the sword, famine, disease and beasts... BUT according to http://www.census.gov/cgi-bin/ipc/pcwe 4.3 people are born every second of every day and out of that amount 1.8 people die every second of every day... now the increase is 2.5 in life, but none the less over 40% of the population of this planet dies every second of every day...This may not be as spectacular as what many people have been waiting for, but then GOD has always used natural elements that He created to bring about His will for our lives and the world that He has planned out. Not our plans and not our will...
Take for instance when He planned to remove the children of Israel from Egypt...each and every subsequent plague emanated from the first one where the water turned into blood… He took total credit for each and every plague because He knew before hand that 1+1= E=mc²
LONG before Albert was going to be born… After all He made it all in the first place…
It is all cause and effect… the 6th seal will be caused by men and the effects will be global… all within His will for all of us… He knew that at one point in our history we would have a birth/death ratio that equaled 1/4th of the population in death compared to the birth rate… AT that very moment that particular seal was opened up. The same was when He caused the water to turn to blood, natural cause and effect…Just like the unnatural man made cause and effect of the consequences of the 6th seal being opened… LOOK at what Apostle John said in his explanation of what he saw when the 6th seal was opened… Rev. 6:12-14 (KJV) And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; [13] And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. [14] And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
THAT is a complete description of an ICBM (Inter Continental Ballistic Missile) bomb or bombs detonating as described by a person who has never heard of nor ever seen a blast of that type take place and just like all else in our Biblical history, we are due.
This particular nation has been declaring “peace and safety” since Ronald Wilson Reagan was in office over 28 years ago… quite possibly even before then, but most prevalently with great dominance and power for the last 16 years for sure.
What prophecy is written about this statement?

Lord Jesus is alive and well and all of us who overcome the ways of this planet with our faith in Him will inherit all things… ALL things, not just some… so get out there and tell the stranger in the bushes and the one that is across the street and the one at your market and the service station, ad infinitum… that there is still room at the marriage supper and they are invited as long as they become a Christian… then you can lead them to the water that is within each of you and the Light will shine and they will get saved

What Can I Do While I Wait For Jesus To Come Back?

35For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
So here we have Jesus giving a clear description of the Great Tribulation and saying that it's possible that we will escape. Not endure. Escape.
So how do we know when the Day of The Lord begins?
Joel 2: 30And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. 31The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.
That seems to be 100% clear. We have 2 clear signs that MUST precede the Day of The Lord.
So let's got Revelation Chapter 6:
Revelation 6: 12And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind......... 15And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? Sun turns black and moon turns to blood. This is the ONLY time in the Bible this happens. Additionally, the Kings of the world acknowledge that the Day has begun just as Isaiah prophesied (Isaiah Chapter 2, which is clearly describing the Day of The Lord).
And right after the 6th seal: what happens? The 144,000 are sealed and then suddenly.....
Revelation 7: 9After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; 10And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
.....14And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Jesus, our Lord and Savior, has made it so clear. He specifically stated that we could, if we stay faithful, be accounted worthy to escape ALL of the Great Tribulation and STAND before Him. And here we see, right at the time the Day of The Lord is about to begin, there suddenly appears a multitude in Heaven of believers STANDING before the lamb (as opposed to the 5th seal martyrs who were under the altar).
And there is the rapture and Day of The Lord right from Scripture. I just ask that some who disagree, at least consider these verses and reconcile them with your current theology. God bless.

we can escape and still be right in it... like Noah did....or the plethora of God trusting people in the Bible do... but leaving that aside...

I was always under the understanding that this was a seal of information for the elect, about the Coming of Christ, but recently another poster has pointed out that Satan comes deceivingly, pretending to be Christ and that this was his coming instead.... I'm mulling it over...

that should tell you something...what do you think they are SEALED with???? we were just told that in the SEALS....IN THE BIBLE, seals are not actions but information contained within...and they are ONLY understood by the ELECT Christians of Rev7/14 (Northern 10 tribes scattered abroad). (only 1/12th of the elect are Jews-Messianic )

IMO this is a Millennial scene....showing the overcomers...not a pre trib raptured group. But I see your point...not that I agree.

Ok, first off, you should understand that I am a Bible literalist. I prefer plain reading and linguistic evidence over anything. And I also believe the Bible is self-confirming. Just so you know where I'm coming from.

I don't know what you mean about the God Trusting people, but with respect to Noah and the flood, yes, I agree. He did escape the flood. Lot did escape the fire and brimstone. Unfortunately, you are just posing a hypothetical to interpret scripture. I prefer examining the actual words on the page for their literal meaning.
The problem with your interpretation is the word "ek" or ekpugo that word for escape means to "come out from" something. This is going to be even more significant in a moment.

Again, I am not sure how you choose to interpret scripture. The seals are the seals on a scoll which contains the prophecies of the end of the world. God is literally holding this scroll until Revelation Chapter 5. As The Lamb, Christ Jesus opens them, different prophesied events take place that move us closer to the Day of The Lord. There is nothing said here about Satan at all. It is what it says it is.
And I will repeat that this (the 6th Seal) is the only time in the Bible where the requisite signs for the Day of The Lord to begin are fulfilled.

Again, I prefer just looking at the Greek to know the meaning of a word over pure speculation. A "seal" (sphragizo) is a signet or a stamp. The signet is put on the scroll to show that only one of a certain rank can be permitted to open it (that being Jesus Christ, the only one worthy).To be "sealed" means to be impressed with a stamp or be strengthened. Either definition works for the 144,000 witnesses.

I really don't know how you deduce this to be a Millenial scene. For one The Day of The Lord has not even taken place yet. The Marriage Supper of The Lamb has not taken place either. So it's not even time for Christ to return to Earth, much less set up his Kingdom.
Regarding Revelation 7:14, the highly respected Bible scholar Dr. Robert H. Mounce, in his exhaustive commentary and analysis The Book of Revelation (1977, p.173) writes,
“The participle should be understood in a general sense to mean ‘such as come’ or perhaps as a more vivid way of saying ‘they that have just come.’ The aorist [tense] of vs. 13 makes unlikely the idea that oi erxomenoi refers to some who are still arriving.”
Again, just providing more solid linguistic evidence to show what the meaning is. These raptured saints have indeed come out from the Great Tribulation and are now standing before The Lamb just as Jesus prophesied in Luke 21. And just logically, since the Day of The Lord has NOT begun yet, they clearly have escaped it. So the Bible supports this idea With the same word usage in different books and the same prophetic timing used in Joel 2:31.
