What God says is Final! The enemy knows that and God just needs you to know it.
Laugh at the devil for what he is trying to do. Let the devil know that your Father. The One You Serve Is Awesome & Great & Powerful & Has The Final Say.
Just when it looks like the enemy has victory God Steps In! Letting the enemy do what he thinks will break you down. Then before you break God steps in and Says That's enough. And Gives Victory! Glory To God!
The enemy is not stronger than the Lord! Who can be stronger Than Him! No One. We have to learn to lift our Heads and Smile because in the back our minds we know our Father is giving Victory! Learn to Laugh at that devil.
God has put power and authority in you! And the enemy can not stop what God puts in place.
I personally like to be angry with him. But in the End, like you said toolite, God has the final answer!

Hi Toolite! My feelings are not to tease or to try the tempter, for in doing so He might cause us even more trouble than He already does now. In saying this , Yes I realize We have strength in our Savior, We have strength in the Living God and Yes we know Our faith is in Him who overcomes this world . But would our lord even want us to Give Satan the time of Day? quite frankly I believe Our Lord would rather that WE might ignore Satan all together and even then OLd Satan Will still try and Give us "Hell" pardon that pun...WE must turn Our backs on Satan and in the Name Of Jesus We are given POwer to Tell Him to leave You or tell Him to" cut that Out Satan" or " Get the behind Me Satan " But to just plain laugh at Him I feel it's like playing with "fire" so to speak... another pun..sorry...I just think it is better to Not MOck Him but to command HIm in the Name of Jesus to Leave You alone when You are tempted or any other such thing that Satan will do to Mess us Up . We are just weak Humans and If it were not for Christ Satan Would have us in the Palm of His Hand anyway.... But Glory to God such is not the Case We are saved by His glorious and generous Grace and We were bought at great price so He will not let Satan snatch Us out of Gods arms.
With all that, I still do not think it prudent to laugh at Satan. This is probably a poor anology or comparison , But think of it in this way would We poke a stick at an angry dog ? would We do the chicken dance in front of a Grizzly Bear? What those animals could do to Our flesh Satan could do worse if He was loosed on us and allowed to go at us full bore. after all Look at Job... God still Loved Job but God allowed Him to suffer at the hands of Satan. Bad things happen to people every dqay and alot of things happen to them on the interferance of Satan.
I just feel it better not to Mock the devil (IMO) God Bless you all ....Dave
I understand your thought process;however, the devil causes pain and suffering to those who don't understand and to strong brothers and sisters.
You are right that God is all powerful. However Satan is roaming free right now.
To laugh at Him -- when did God ever mock or laugh at Satan?

To laugh at in the name of Christ, but not to be taken lightly.

I understand. Our Strength Comes From When We Know Who We Are In The Lord. Many Christians fear the enemy and what the enemy does. We have to re-train our mindsets not to fear and it's hard. I understand that. Fear is not of God. God did not give you the spirit of Fear. So why would you even acknowledge the enemies power when you know your Fathers power is greater.

God has made you great! You have to find out through God how great.
If you can imagine this. God put powerful things in you and you are fully equiped but, we have to seek God to find out what they are. God has made you powerful spiritually. And God Is The Only One That Has The Power The True Power That Makes All Bow To Him.
When we fear we fall in agreement with the enemy. The enemy speaks something to us to make us have a fear and when we get scared we are in agreement with the enemy. the enemy builds off of that and uses it to his advantage making us stumble. If we can learn not to fear or give the enemy power and dominion over us then we will have victory everytime!
Keep in mind. Do you think you can hide from the enemy. Do you think he will stop attacking you if you slack. That's a lie. Because he is going to attack no matter what because of who you are. And you maynot know who you are in the Lord but, the enemy does.
Toolite ! I do agree with all that You are saying and perhaps even allowing Satan the Privlage That I would be afraid of what He could Do to My body I am aware and do Fear My awesome God who can Both destroy Flesh and soul for eternity . I do realize that my faith seems to show tatters when I give Satan a wide birth at least intentionally I do anyway. I do understand that as a Christian I will have to suffer for My faith some day and I know who causes the suffering I guess there is no sense in being afraid When God is able fully able to save us from Satans firey assaults and Just because I run from Him I guess it dosn't mean He will quit chasing Me He will never give Up regardless of what I do to ignore Him. My job , and it's a Job that I love is to LOve God with all My heart and My next Job is to Love My neighbor as Myself...and that includes You My Sister in Christ .
