Ok, so you do realize things have to be different to allow us to live forever? Samr thing with the sun, it is forever. As we understand it now, it will not last forever as is.

So you are doubting God's power to keep you living for eternity without having to change anything? I still find it amusing how many christians seem to doubt God's power!

Yes, I am. This earth will be a home for us forever, and it also has to last. If it didn't, God is not true.
I doubt that God is silly. Why would He need to run around propping up a dying state universe that was never meant to last forever? Never assume God is stupid, I would suggest. Besides, there is no need to wonder, it is crystal clear that a new heavens is coming, and the heaven and earth as we know it, in this state will be no more.

Ok, and since there can be no science to even address how the universe will be in the unknown future, I would say you are on pretty solid ground there.
