Bible question

I just want to state first that I am a Christian and read the bible every day.

Well I want to ask how do we know the bible is 100 percent true. It is thousand of years old and many men have had there hands in it with the ability to corrupt the it. This thing that we live our life by how do we truly know Man does not have his own say in the bible and uses it for Mans own good and now what God truly wants. How do we know ?

The bible has held up to attacks beyond all other books. I suggest you research the dead sea scrolls. The bits that were found intact confirm that the translations have done no damage to the original text of the bible.

The bible contains promises of accuracy. The bible also states that men inspired by God wrote the text. So, if you trust God, then you should know He is the author and the one looking out for His word.

Yes, men inspired by God wrote the text. Just like what he said above me.

We can see, in the bible, these are counts of what happened, like a historian would do. Read Titus 1:2. God CANNOT lie, we have a God who cannot lie, and if the Bible are counts of what truly happened, and contains the true words of Jesus..messengers.. prophets... all inspired by God, then you will find no faults. Imagine speaking to a man who cannot lie, you will find no contradictions in anything he says. Same goes with the Bible. you cannot find contradictions in the Bible. Many people try to point out contradictions..but the only reason why there is a contradiction to them is because they are misunderstanding or misinterpreting the text. Research more, ask questions like the way you are asking questions, and you'll come to the truth. Let the bible prove itself by finding facts within the bible. No question about the bible should be justified by a man's opinion, but it should be justified by another part of the bible. For what it says in Revelations 22, nothing should be added or subtracted from the Bible.

Another thing is..The Bible like you said is over a thousand years old, and many had their hands on it. But, trust in the people who put it together, for they know they were witnesses to the truth, and they lived in and around the time of Christ and the happenings of those days. For example, There WAS a book of Judas, but it was never added to the bible. Why? Was it because there were some hidden things that might contradict the others? Was it because there were some true secret that might change the way people looked at Jesus? No, the reason why they didn't add it was because..he was a Liar. He turned in Jesus to the Romans for some cash. Now who in the right mind would publish his book along side of the books of the 4 faithful apostles? The Bible was well put together making sure that only the true accounts were taken in.
