We all have to call and write our Senators and House Reps to stop a government take over of our health care system that the majority of Americans opposse. We will end up paying more and getting less. Also, Obama, Pelosi and Reid would like Christians like us to pay for abortions. To put it bluntly, they will take money from our pay checks to kill babies. Obama and his liberal cronies are sick in the head.

The only true reform IMO would be single-source government-run health care. Since that is out of the question, then I tend to agree: let's scrap the whole thing. But a strong public option is sort of a compromise.

Of course they will. They believe that an abortion is health care. But the question is, will it be covered in a public option insurance plan? Despite the koolaid they serve over at Foxnews, Obama is far from the hardcore left.

There are existing statutes which forbid any government programs from funding abortions. But there are none which forbid an insurance company from offering abortion coverage.

Abortion funding within set parameters is fairly standard amongst other countries so I would hardly call it hardcore left.
