Can't move items into the bottom half

Uh, hello. I've noticed that for some reason, I cannot add items, and move them into the lower half of the avatar window. For example, I bought the item "Icon Christ protocantor" and when I added it, I couldn't drag it below a certain point.... Is this supposed to be this way? I can't see the reason for this. I also wanted to put a rosary over my characters hand, as if holding it, but I couldn't drag the rosary low enough either.
