Because of the bigoted left with ideas of their own about us. Some of these people you unfortunately cannot set straight as to what we believe, or why we believe it.

And some of those who call me bigot and racist for speaking God's Word call themselves Christians. They are a breed appart though and I see nothing of Christ in them for they embrace the immorality and unrighteousness of the liberal left.

Confessing Christ doesn't mean your moral compass doesn't point south, unfortunately. My cousin is one of those people.

Ro 8:5 Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.
Ro 8:6 The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace;
Ro 8:7 the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.
Ro 8:8 Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God.

Quite so! And just as some who claim Christ certainly aren't His so if I say I am a tree that does not make me one.
Words from our Lord make this all too clear:
You can identify them by their fruit, that is, by the way they act. Can you pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? A good tree produces good fruit, and a bad tree produces bad fruit. A good tree can’t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit. So every tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down and thrown into the fire. Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions.

Nope, I hear it all the time. I have been called a Conservative Christian nutjob and Nazi and of course bigot and racist all for speaking the truth of the Gospel.
But I agree fundamentalist is also a dirty word. Have you been called a fundamentalist extremist lately or a fundy?

Why do You say that fundamentalist is a dirty word? Because if it is a dirty word and I am a Baptist cleaving to many fundamental teachings of the Good Book I would like to be known as a Bible believer in it's totality. So if fundamentalist is a dirty word what clean and acceptable word could be used for a person such I? I would prefer that You would call Me a Christian but maybe that's not what You would like to call Me.
I feel that labeling others in the Christian Forum, especially those Who Love God and cleave to His commandments calling them names and such is a real low blow to the children of God and lovers of His word. There should not even be discussions concerning Gods Children in this way. I said enough to get My point across , God Bless You all and May all that You post be well thought out and realize that You are talking about those who Love God just as You do...Dave
